Episode 3

AUSTIN’S POV:

A scent of lavender and honey with a hint of wild wolf hit my nostrils, I opened my eyes slowly.

“Mate” my wolf said with so much excitement, I looked at her face above me, she was sleeping with her eyes still closed, I was sleeping on her laps, oh it felt like heaven.

She was the most beautiful girl I’ve ever seen, she was indeed the beauty Queen. I couldn’t believe my eyes, it’s been such a long time since I last saw Gina, I cant believe Gina is my mate. It looks like she became more and more beautiful over the years.

I looked at her pink juicy lips, I wanted to taste them so bad, I sat up, “ouch” I said holding my shoulder that was in too much pain.

I looked back at Gina and her bright golden eyes were staring right back at me, she was now awake and looking at me, our eyes locked for the first time, I was breathless, my heat skipped a beat and my soul became alive again.

I could not keep my wolf in check as it went wild with joy and kept on saying “mate”. A low happy growl escaped my mouth.

I leaned in to taste her juicy lips and she leaned forward as well. It felt like I was dreaming, her soft lips collided into mine, I could feel her heart racing like thunder.

It was as if time stood still, only me and her mattered in the whole world.

I could feel her fingers tracing my jawline, with the other hand playing with my hair at the back of my head, my body felt too excited at what she was doing to my body.

I gently framed her face with my hands, our lips continued making magic, I was hungry for her, I felt like marking her right there. Our mate bond was too strong.

“Uhhhmmm.” I head a voice and pulled out from the kiss, my eyes searching for the person who dares to interrupt us. “Ashly.” I said as my mind came back to reality, realising that we are all locked in a cell.

“Are you okay?” I asked her trying to sound normal. All she did was give me a smile, while her face was utterly shocked.

“Oh Ashly, meet my mate, Gina.” I said holding Gina’s hand and all she could do was smile at me.

“Wow, I can’t believe you guys are mates, my best friend and my twin brother are mates, wow!” Ashly said excited.

“Gina, why didn’t you tell me.” Ashly asked Gina but Gina’s reaction surprised the both of us.

Gina’s smile froze, she now wore a serious look.

“Gina what’s wrong.” I asked concerned.

“I’m sorry Austin, but we can’t be together.” She said letting go of my hand.

“ What do you mean you can’t be with me Gina are you rejecting me.” I asked Gina as my feelings shattered by her rejection.

“Yeah, Gina what’s going on, are you really rejecting my brother?” Ashly asked disappointed at her.

Gina’s tears dropped immediately after hearing our confused voices.

“I, I…” Gina said trying to find her voice.

“Oh now you can’t talk.” Ashly short at her. “we used to fantasize about our mates, now that you found yours you are rejecting him, I can’t believe you.” Ashly continued, it was as if she could feel the pain that I was feeling inside, my heart broke into pieces and I can’t piece them together, how could my own mate do this to me, or she’s already with someone else, that should be the only reason for this rejection.

“Care to explain Gina?” I said wiping her tears with my own hands.

Seems like I made her cry more, and seeing her crying like this was paining me even more.

I was fuming with anger with the thought of her being with someone else, that was not all, she chose him over me, her own mate.

Tears started coming from my own eyes at the thought of someone else touching her.
