‎"Is she more better than me?" Damien voice asked. Both females raised their head to see Damien at the door. ‎"How long have you been there?" Agnus asked ‎"Throughout" he answered honestly ‎"Yes, daddy she is" Misha answered his earlier question ‎"Why's that?" he asked as he stepped in and joined them on the floor, on misha's other side ‎"Her food is delicious" Misha said simply ‎"So this is how you want to steal my daughter?" Damien asked, obviously kidding ‎"Not my fault you can't cook" She answered in kind, flipping her hair ‎"Rude" Damien feigned offense. Misha turned back to agnus ‎"So when I go back to school, you'll pick me up and drop me?" Misha asked ‎"It's till then and I'll try" Agnus answered without really giving her a yes ‎"Not because I'm jealous and want to end this talk but our breakfast is getting cold" Damien said ‎"food!" Misha yelled ‎"Lets go eat then" Agnus said, they stood up, misha already ran out the door "like you could be jealous" Agnus teased ‎"I'm not but I could be. You're great with kids by the way, are you married or dating?" Damien asked ‎"Weird question but I'll answer. No, honestly I haven't been in a relationship my whole life. I was more focused on my career, now that I'm where I need to be, it never crossed my mind" Agnus answered honestly ‎"So you've never dated? Never been on a date? And never had your first kiss?" he asked all at once ‎"Still weird questions but no for every single one" she replied ‎"So you've never...?" he trailed off but she caught on. ‎"What, no no, I haven't. Never ask that, it's weirder than the others" he held up his hands in surrender ‎"Fine, I'm sorry" Damien apologized ‎"We better go eat before the food gets cold" she reminded ‎"Well, it'd be your fault" Damien said. Agnus narrowed her eyes at him "seriously?" she said.he chuckled ‎"I'm not really lying, am I?" he teased ‎"You're a devious man" she joked ‎"Whatever you say, not gonna argue" he said ‎"Coz you know it's true" she said ‎"Its not" he argued ‎"Whatever you say, not gonna argue" she used his words against him. He crossed his arms over his chest jokingly with a smirk. ‎"Now who's the devious one? Stealing my lines" Agnus just stuck her tongue out at him "oh my, I have two kids now" he gasped, he was joking and she knew. She rolled her eyes but still smiled ‎"C'mon smarty pants or our food will get cold" she said ‎"Or misha's already eaten it" he added. They went down for food. For a week agnus would come over and babysit Misha while he went to work. On Thursday, they all sat on the large couch, eating popcorn while watching a movie ‎"Its great that you came home early for misha" Agnus spoke . Damien nervously scratched the back of his neck with a low chuckle. ‎"Well, I honestly had free time" he said, wanting to end the conversation but Agnus didn't get the memo ‎"It's good. Spending more time with her I mean" ‎"Yeah, it is" he agreed ‎"Shhhh I can't hear" Misha said, since they were disturbing her movie ‎"Sorry Misha" Agnus said with a fond smile. The next time they spoke was Friday night, Misha was asleep. "So how was work" Agnus asked ‎"I've been home for like 10 minutes and you ask me now" he said raising a brow ‎Agnus chuckled "well excuse me for asking eventually" ‎"Work was fine. How was yours?" he asked ‎"Well since I was here, I've been online" she replied ‎"I'm really sorry I've been taking your time. I just, I feel it's better you than a babysitter" he apologized and said to her truthfully ‎"I guess I appreciate the compliment and its okay. Its actually nice to relax for a bit" she said. She really was grateful for the break but she knew she'd have to get to her store soon. She is still the owner ‎"Well, I'm taking misha to her grandparents for the weekend. I was wondering if you wanted to hang out" he said, he'd never admit it but he was nervous she'd say no. She raised a brow ‎"Hang out?" she asked ‎"Yeah, just us, no misha but if you'd rather not. I completely understand. Its not like I'll be lonely" he was rambling, he knew and she picked up on his last word. ‎"Lonely? You? I doubt it" she said, he shrugged "well tomorrow is the saturday and I'm free, so yeah. As long as its an hang out and not a date" she said ‎"You should be glad if it is a date" he said ‎"Puh-lease, no" she disagreed ‎"It's not a date, just a hang out between high school friends" he said ‎"Sure, well I'll see you, bye" She knew deep down it was a date but she wanted to ignore the thought. She left, he escorted her to the front door and watched as she got into a car and drove off. He closed the door, locked it. ‎"It's totally a date" he said to no one in particular then asked himself "what am I gonna do?" chapter 7 coming soon. How's the story so far? ‎ ‎
