They started the game with awkwardness but it soon desolved when agnus first won. Then she won three other times.
"Take that, I'm a master" She boasted while Damien stared bewildered at the TV screen "How..How did you win?" he asked.
"My dad was a pro, taught me all he knew" she answered
"Does this mean I stand no chance?" he asked, his head bowed this time
"You stood no chance since the beginning, wanna watch a movie or keep playing. I have lots more" she said smugly and asked
"Oh not gonna happen, so you can tease me about it. I think not, let's play" he said. Her challenging face was on, he'd just made a big mistake "You're on".
After four different games that agnus won. Damien was slumped on the floor, agnus did her victory dance "I won, you lost" she sang as she danced, damien groaned from his spot on the floor.
"What are you? Five?" he joked/asked
"No, I'm 20 and just bested you in four games, four different games" she answered
"You're cheating" he looked up as her movements stopped.
"How am I cheating?" She asked, her hands were on her hips, both as she stared down at him. He sat up
"we've played only your games, lets play mine and see if you still win".
Her brow raised as an amused smile crept up her face
"Okay since you're such a crybaby, I accept" They played, she won.
"No more. Lets watch a movie" he said, his ego stumped
"Crybaby" she teased
"Not a crybaby but you're using some-some secret code" he stuttered, she crossed her arms "how? They were your games, I've never even touched them before" she said.
"Still" he said, since he had nothing more to say.
"Aww, I'm sorry...for beating you"
"Movie time" he said, changing the subject.
"If you say so" she complied. Then out of her same bag, she brought out a bag of popcorn and chocolate.
"You're prepared" he stated factly
"Aren't you?" she asked
"Nah, I forget alot especially for outings" he admitted
"Well then it's a good thing I'm with you, now you'll always be prepared for anything" she said
"So you're staying?" he asked, she stopped, hearing what he said for herself.
"Do you want me to?" she asked, instead of answering his questions.
"I wouldn't mind having you around, you're pretty fun" he admitted. She blushed at his compliment, suddenly shy. She looked away, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear.
"Thanks, you're not a stick in the mud either" he chuckled at that
"Good to know you first saw me as a stick in the mud " he said. Her shyness was gone after that, she turned to him, staring and noticed the small grin and his happy expression.
"You're actually teasing me now?" she asked
"Do I have to schedule a tease session?" he asked instead of answering her.
"Who knows?" she shrugged "movie time" she sang. The popcorn was in the middle of them and two soda at each side of the popcorn. Agnus laid her head on damien shoulder, totally unaware of the blush that spread across his face. He hesitantly wrapped his arm around her shoulder, sighing in relief when she didn't react. "We should do this often" she said breaking the silence
"Really?" he asked, surprised. She nodded and sat up, looking at him and Damien's heart beated faster. She was beautiful.
"Its nice having someone to talk to and hang out with" she admitted
"Then I hope to be the person you can talk to and I'm looking forward to it" he said softly. Agnus leaned in, so did damien. Their lips met in a slow kiss, Damien's hands finding her waist and pulling her closer, onto his lap. Agnus wrapped her arms around his neck, tilting her head to deepen the kiss. She pulled away and they both stared at each other, adoringly, then damien leaned in and kissed her again and again. Agnus didn't complain but when he leaned in the fourth time, she turned her head away.
"I can't believe this happened" she whispered
"Is it a bad thing?" he asked, concern laced in his voice and etched on his face. Agnus looked at him
"No,I just..I kissed you without even thinking. I.."
"No, you didn't" he cut her off "we both kissed each other and if I'm being honest, I enjoyed it and ...this was meant to be our first date" he confessed. Agnus stared at him in disbelief.
