(ANNA)
“That fits you better, I think yellow looks good on you”. We’ve been trying on different clothes for Sasha since we haven’t go to her place to get some of her things and I don’t think it’s a good idea anyway.
For the past six days since that horrible night we’ve issued for a new master card, get her a new laptop so she can catch up on work, I was surprise to find out that she is a co-owner of a clothing firm and with the search result on my phone it looks like her firm is doing well.
“I think so too, it makes my face look vibrant and I can almost forget what has happened this past few days.”
“I don’t think you should forget since we are not on the clear yet, there is a psychopathic creature after our blood,” Cassandra said as she walked into the bedroom with a smile on her face.
“How did you get inside, I didn’t hear you come in,” I told her with a confused look.
“Can you teleport or something too,” Cassandra ask.
“You know, just because people are guarding you doesn’t mean you can leave your front door open she replies.”
“The front door is open? I have no idea I thought we lock it when we got back from the store,” I said trying to remember.
“You didn’t, the door was open, anyway that’s not why am here, I want us to look for someone, he has been popping up in my head and my finder instinct has been going haywire.”
“Who are we looking for and why?”
“I don’t know his name all I can see is his location.”
“What do you mean by all you can see is his location?” Sasha asked with a raised eyebrow.
“I’m a finder and a seer, that was how I was able to save you the other day, I saw your location and face in my mind and I locate you.”
“You mean you can find people, or what does being a seer and a finder means” I asked curiously.
“As a seer I can see the past and present of a person, I’ve not been able to see the future, I can also see possibilities of how things can enfold, for example I can see the possibilities of how a business will work out and so on. I get visions of people in danger, sometimes the vision can be confusing, it may not come in order but in different pieces but being a finder helps, I can find those pieces and make it whole, if I see someone in a vision I can always know where to find them with ease, it’s like a tread pulling me in their direction.”
“That’s amazing but do you think it’s wise for us to go alone” I asked.
“No, that’s why I call the others telling them to meet up here, we just have to wait a few minute for them.” She said sitting on my bed comfortably.
For some reason I like her, maybe it’s because of her carefree nature.
Sia came in after she knock on the bedroom door. “Hello guys,” facing me she asked, “Why is your entrance door unlock?”
“It’s still open, I thought you locked the door after you.” I asked Cassandra.
“I didn’t since she’s coming over soon.” She replied.”
“You said you call the others, who else is coming” Sasha ask her.
“Maddox, I think we might need him.”
“How are you guys holding up.” Sia asked everyone.
“Am trying not to think about the fact that I may be a human sacrifice for a psychotic creature or a key to break over a century old curse” I replied sarcastically.
With a sigh Sasha respond, “The thought of it is so distraughtly and it looks like am the easy prey here with the way you guys fought I don’t think I stand a chance if am about to be kidnaped again.”
“Don’t worry, no one will kidnap you we are all in this together and we won’t leave you alone” I said to her confidently.
“Ok ladies since we are all in this together a proper introduction should be in order,” Sia said enthusiastically, “you all know my name but what you don’t know is what I do, well ladies am a hunter.”
“What do mean by hunter?” Sasha asked.
“Isn’t it a male job to be a hunter?”
“It’s a good job, hunting for food, it doesn’t have to be a male job.” Cassandra replied supportively.
“I think you got me wrong Anna, am not that kind of hunter, I came from a long line of hunter family who hunt down rogue supernatural being, and am pretty good at my job. Am like a supernatural police it’s just that my family work alone” she said nonchalant.
“Interesting, you are a finder and seer,” I point to Cassandra, “while you are a hunter who hunt down supernatural being, this is great am surrounded with wonder woman.”
“I know it’s a lot to take in Cassandra said, but I don’t think you are a normal human either or why else will there be guardians watching over you.”
“I think it has more to do with me witnessing their fight with the elementals at my alley, am sure they are trying to see if I will tell anyone about it.”
“I don’t think so, they wouldn’t be worried with that, guardians don’t waste their time on a specific person without a reason since they have a lot of people to watch out for.” Sia commented.
“How about you ask them the reason they’ve been watching you.” Cassandra said.
“I don’t think I want to, if there is more to it I don’t think I can deal with that right now, it’s better to take things one at a time, we still have the creature to deal with, dealing with guardians at the same time is unethical.
“For now, let’s go find who Cassandra is seeing in her vision then when the time is right I will confront the guardians.”
“Fine, let’s wait for Maddox.” Cassandra said.
