"princess Annabelle princess Annabelle"I heard my personal maid say my name while gently tapping me,I was too tired to wake up or maybe I didn't want to then slowly I opened my eyes and saw the maid standing beside my bed and smiling "good morning my princess"she said curtseying "Good morning Blenda "I said rubbing my eyes ,Blenda had been my personal maid for a long time and I really enjoyed her company I was a princess so I didn't really have friends and Blenda was more like the only friend I had as I spent most of my time with her."My princess your bath is ready remember today is your wedding and the guests will be arriving soon "Blenda said with a very wide smile.Oh yes my wedding day the reason I did not want to wake up early.As a princess and the only daughter of my father king Zoren of Thaloria kingdom my life was pretty much arranged,From what I wore to what i eat,the people I talk to,my education and yes my marriage.I was already 22 and not yet married and this made father annoyed till he decided to make an arranged marriage for me.When i heard of it at first I was very annoyed and threw a fit but my mother came and spoke to me and i saw it as a way of escaping the palace and leaving a free life which was the only reason I agreed to the marriage in the first place.But as the day of the marriage grew closer I became tensed and scared because I did not even know the man I was getting married to,what if I don't like him,or what if he doesn't like me,what if we are not compatible.These thoughts disturbed me till the morning of my so called "marriage"."it's okay my princess everything is going to be alright"Blenda said giving me her reassuring smile that always made everything feel better at least.I smiled back at her and took off my night gown as I entered the bathroom.I spent a lot of time in the shower still thinking before I finally decided to come out. I sat in front of the mirror as Blenda combed my hair "I heard he is a very handsome billionaire"she said as she tied my hair into a ponytail,I had a very long beautiful black hair and I knew she was talking about my husband to be as I had heard a little about him from my elder brother,I just sighed helplessly looking at myself in the mirror.I knew I was extremely beautiful and attractive I had ice blue eyes and really long lashes that complement them.My skin one could describe as soft and ravishing but today I looked extra beautiful as Blenda had applied a little makeup to my face making me look so dashing.She had chose a white gown for me to wear but I declined and chose a red off shoulder ball gown because red was my favorite color and why wear white when I wasn't even happy about the wedding I felt white wedding gowns were worn by happy brides.After all was done I stood up and looked at the mirror oh how beautiful I looked I just hoped the man I was marrying will appreciate my beauty."my princess you look extremely beautiful I think I'm going to cry"Blenda said wiping little drops of tears from her eyes"stop it Blenda "I said with a little smile.I heard the door open and my mother walked in as she walked in she opened her mouth in shock looking at me and I could see little tears from in her eye as she looked at me with so much admiration "My angel you look so beautiful"she said walking close to me and hugging me so tight to the extent that I was almost out of breath "Thank you mother"I said with a light smile when she finally let go of me " They are here"she said again and held out her hand then I placed my hand on hers and we walked out of the room with Blenda trailing behind us.As we descended the stairs I felt a knot in my stomach and I almost tripped and fell,I was so tensed "it's okay "mom said and I settled down a bit at least for the mean time.Finally we arrived at the throne hall where the guests together with the generals and high rank men and women our kingdom and of course my father the king and my brother the prince with few guards and maids.I took a deep breath and turned to Blenda and she gave me a reassuring smile and I also looked at my mom and she gave me a smile also and I nodded before she pushed the door open And we walked in .As we entered all eyes were on us but a perfect pair of blue eyes caught my attention and I looked at the man great God he was beautifully handsome,he looked like someone right out from a novel he kept on looking at me with no particular expression on his face and I wondered who he was."Finally the woman of the moment is here"my father said with a wide smile on his face as a beckoned on me to come closer while my mother left to take her sit beside as the queen.I walked closer to my father with a smile on my face then he turned to the people who sat in front,A man ,a woman,a young girl and the handsome man with the blue eyes."This is my only daughter princess Annabelle"Father said and I curtseyed with a smile."We are very pleased to meet you princess Annabelle"the man said to me with a smile "and this is my wife Darcy and my daughter klara and of course my son and your husband to be Ethan"he said pointing at the handsome man i was almost out of breath so this handsome man is my husband i said with a smile he didn't look bad at all.I watched as the man stood up and walked up to me then took the back of my hand and kissed it"i am very pleased to meet you my princess he said with a voice that almost drove me crazy."The pleasure is all mine "I said with a little smile.The marriage formalities were finally concluded and I said goodbye to my parents,my brother,Blenda and every other person in the palace before finally leaving with Ethan and his family.
