Blayne's POV I saw her sitting on the floor waiting for me. She looks so fragile bundled up with her legs pulled to her chest and her head resting on her knees. I can't believe she actually came to do the work. I might be cruel sometimes, but I would never have blamed her if she hadn't shown up. I mean she would have had a great excuse. Just like today. She did have a valid excuse, but I never even gave her a chance to explain, but still she deserved what she got. While she was still fine, she messed up and upset two of my guests. I walked over to her so that I wouldn't give her a fright. It didn't help. She still jumped a meter from the floor. We went inside and I leaned against my desk, putting some space between us.
