Blayne's POV
"NO!!" I heard a shriek, waking me from my sleep. It was coming from Kaitlinn's room. Before I could even think I was in her room standing over her bed. I can't see anyone here.
"You're dead! Go away, leave me alone!" She was sweating and even asleep. She was pale as a ghost. I bent down, shaking her gently.
"Kaitlinn, wake up!"
"NO!" She started thrashing against my hold on her. Her eyes flashed open and she swung at me, missing only by a millimeter.
"Kat, relax, it's just me." Her eyes focused on me and she sat up.
"I'm sorry I didn't mean to hit you. Why are you here?"
"You were screaming. I thought someone was hurting you."
