"This is strange".Lady marie said in surprise.

"It is written here, for lady Marie and all ears". dylan said.

"Okay then read it out".Lady marie.

"Dear lady marie,you look rather stressed and anxious these days.I hoped you liked our little surprises,It was fun to see you scared but that's not all I have all your precious items now and If you harm the rebel group I will not miss the target next time.yours faithfully the assassin".dylan said calmly and lady marie threw a glass cup at the wall.

"How dare that they mess with me like this,I will kill them all". lady Marie screamed.

"mother calm down".brandon said he was trying to hide his laughter.

"Don't tell me to be calm you all are fools, yesterday,they broke into my room collected my jewels and spilled pig's blood everywhere, I can no longer tolerate this at all dylan who brought the letter".lady Marie said angrily. dylan knelt down immediately.

"My lady, nobody knows who brought the letter we found it in the mail box".dylan said.

"You all are incompetent fools".she screamed. then one of the body guards came in with a gift box.

"Good morning madam,there is a package for you".he said in a bow.

"What sort of nonsense is this ,who is the package from".lady marie said angrily.

"I don't know".he said in fear.

"Fool give it to me".lady marie said angrily as she snatched the box from him.

"Mother be careful you don't know what's inside".brandon said in fright. lady marie opened it and she fell down in fright. It was the head of lord dayley.It was burnt.

"Who did this".she said in fright.

"This is so unbelievable".Lady martha said in fright.

"look there is letter attached to it".ellis said

"This is despicable who could be so cruel".

lord Matthews said as he shook his head.

"Who could have done this".timothy said in shock as he stared at lady marie.

"Read the letter".lady marie said as brandon and draco helped her stand up.

"lady Marie your plan had backfired you had planned to burn all of us to death but you killed your informant by yourself. watch your steps you might be next, from the rebel group". eliis said everyone looked at her in suprise.

"Mother how can you do this".thaniel said weakly.

"They can't scare me". lady marie said in fear as she walked away.

I worked all day,I was super excited.I even helped Emily even though she complained. I eventually went to my room late.

"Why are you late".Flair said.as I entered the room.

"Gosh you scared me".I said as I held my chest.

"Well you had me worried,I thought you went to the house without telling me".she said.

"You nag alot,I stayed late because I was helping Emily with her chores, she actually has a lot to do but when I helped it was faster". I said proudly.

"Come and sit, look lady Marie is very scared she hasn't left her room all day after what happened this morning".flair said.

"What happened".I said cluelessly because I was sure that what I did wasn't enough to frighten her.

"so you don't know what happened, today someone sent lady Marie a gift box, guess what was inside".flair said.

"What was it".I said.

"Lord Dayley's head,It was a very terrible sight and it was burnt".flair said.

"That's extreme who did it".I said calmly.

"The rebel group, lady Marie's plan had backfired,I was dismissed early today."Flair said.

"That's good news at least lord dayley is out of the way we have to find out who lady Marie is working with, my papa will always say that knowing your enemy is the first step of winning your battle".I I said

"Okay sir". flair said and we laughed.

"One by one we will succeed in this mission". I said.

"thaniel is very sick you should check up on him".flair said.

"Why didn't you tell since".I said as I ran out. dylan was standing outside.

"good evening dylan".I said in surprise.

"still as rude as ever, Lady marie requests your presence".he said as he glared at me.

"Why".I said,I hope she doesn't know that I am the assassin.

"stop asking me fool". Dylan said and I followed him. she was waiting for me at the sitting room.

"good evening lady marie".I said Calmly.

"You look terrible and rude,well I forgive you".she said as she glared at me.

"I am tired lady marie,I have work to do tomorrow morning ".I said.

"Rude brat I have work for you,thaniel has refused to take medications,take care of him until he gets better".she said and left.

I went to thaniel's room,he laid weakly on the bed,he looked so pale.

"Sir are you awake".I said as I sat beside him,his temperature was very high.

"Light you are here".he said weakly.

"Don't worry let me get you something to eat".I said calmly and left.

I went straight to the fields, collected some herbs and I went to the kitchen.I grinded the herbs and added it to warm water. I made rice soup since it was the only thing I could make quickly.

When I went back to the room he was sleeping.I dropped the tray on the bedside table.he looked so innocent.

"dummy get up it's time to take your medicine".I said as I tapped him.

"I don't want to".he said.

"Sit up now child".I said as I put a pillow behind his back.

"Why are you talking to me casually".he said as he sat up.

"Drink up and don't you dare throw it away".I said as I gave him the cup.

"What's this,there is no way am taking this".he said.

"You must drink this, it works better than these medicines now open your mouth".I said.

"No".he said.I held his mouth and forced the drink into his mouth he was too weak to struggle with me.I held his mouth until he finished everything.

"Good boy".I said as I dropped the cup.

"how dare you force me you could have injured my mouth".he said angrily.

"It's time to eat, don't make me force you".I said.

"Why are speaking to me so rudely".he said.

"Open your mouth,you need to eat to survive". I said.as I fed him.

"It's nice but am not hungry".he said.

"You must eat everything be a good boy".I said,I made sure he ate everything and I went back to the kitchen,I ate and I washed the dishes.

When I came back he was already sleeping. I went straight to the bathroom and soaked myself in the tub,It was so comfortable and I slept off.

I woke up an hour later,had my bathe and wore his clothes.he was still sleeping when I came out, then I heard a knock on the door. I opened it, it was ellis

"How is he now".ellis said as he entered.

"He is sleeping,you look pale hope you are fine".I said as I touched his forehead.

"I am fine but I feel bad for lord Dayley's death".he said.

"You didn't do anything bad he brought it upon him self don't stress yourself okay".I said.

"Ellis, Lady marie is working with someone in the house we need to find out who that person is ".I said.

"That's easy it must be brandon and draco". he said.

"No it's not,I need you to be very vigilant okay".I said.

"What are you doing here".he said.

"Lady marie insisted that I nurse him anyways go to bed now it's late good night".I said.

"good night".ellis said and left.

I locked the doors and then I sat beside him, he looked much better and then I touched his forehead to check his temperature.It was normal.

"please recover quickly."I said,I was about to stand up when he held my hand.

"Where are you going".he said weakly as he opened his eyes.

"I want to sit on the chair".I said.

"come and sleep on the bed"......
