chapter twelve: The plan

"Mother you are fine okay".Brandon said as he knelt beside her. the swelling had reduced, but her face still had boils.
"she can't hear you,the poison affected her ears but by tomorrow morning she will be able to hear".I said
"Br...andon".she cried.
"mother you will be fine okay just rest".he said smiling.
"She will fall asleep very soon please excuse me I will go and prepare the herbal drink".I said and left.
when I got to the kitchen flair was cleaning the kitchen.
"What do you want to prepare".I said.
"I am waiting for your order my lady".flair said.and we laughed.
"I will cook today and everyone will eat to their satisfaction".I said smiling.
"We are going to cook plenty today".flair said.
We finished cooking and I served the food while flair took the food to the dining table.
"everyone is already there".she said as she entered the kitchen.
"Okay make sure everyone".I said and went to the dinning, then I sat down.
"Dylan make an announcement all the workers should start working by 7am and close by 7pm".I said.
"But.....".
"No buts, or do you want everyone to be in the same state as lady Marie".I asked.
"No l wouldn't want that".he said.
"You too go and rest".I said and he left.
"What's the meaning of this is the only thing that was cooked where is the rest food ".Brandon said as he opened the plate.
"This is what we will eat".I said as I ate, this was my papa's favourite food, rice soup.
"It's nice".lord mattews said.
"wow I love it".Ellis said smiling.
"You know we all can't eat the same thing". Brandon complained
"We all are humans, I don't see any animal here eat quickly you wouldn't enjoy it if it's cold".I said.
"how can you add rice in soup it's disgusting, I am sure you where the one that made this". lady Martha said.
"Mum it's nice if you don't want to eat it give to me".beth said.
"Such a greedy child".lady Martha said
"I can't eat this".Brandon said.
"okay you may leave".I said
"Brandon please give it to me".Ellis said greedily.
"Brandon give me Ellis is a greedy fool".Draco said they were really hungry.
"I will rather eat it thank give you greedy pigs".Brandon said,he couldn't understand the behaviour of his brothers.
"Brandon don't insult us okay, how is it".Ellis asked.
"it's better than it looks".Brandon said. After eating,I washed the dishes and went back to my room.
I went straight to the bathroom,I showered and then I had forgot that to take my clothes. I came out of the bathroom with a towel only to bump into thaniel.
"I am sorry".I said thankfully I tied the towel tight.
"Why did you come out like this".he said.
"I had forgotten to take my clothes and why were you standing close to the door".I said.
"I was putting my dirty clothes in the basket". he said.he drew me close to himself.
"what are you doing".I asked.
"what does it look like am doing I never knew you were this beautiful".he said smiling,I loved his smile.
"don't smile please and let me go".I said
"Nope,you know the night is still young why don't we enjoy it".he said as he carried me in his arms.
"I am tired and I thought you weren't interested in me".I said.
"I wasn't interested in you but now I am, you are an amazing girl why won't I be interested".he said as he dropped me on the bed gently.
"let's do this another time".I said I was actually scared.
"please why are scared".he said as he kissed my hands.
"Will it hurt".I said.
"Just a little,I promise I will be gentle but you will enjoy it".he said.
"if it hurts then I don't want to do it".I said.
"denying your husband your body is wrong but haven't I been patient with you".he said calmly.
"Yes but am scared".I said.
"just trust me okay,I promise I won't hurt you'. he said.
"fine".I said and We got intimate, it was painful but I did enjoy it and we slept off.
The next morning when I thaniel was already dressed he just stood at the mirror applying cream.I was so embarrassed I thought he had already left and I was still naked. how was I supposed to stand up now
"good morning".I said
"good morning".he said coldly. he didn't even look at me.
"Are you alright".I asked.
"leave me alone".he said, I wondered what was going on, yesterday he was so nice to me and now maybe he was tired.I picked my towel from the floor,tied it,took my clothes from the closet and went to the bathroom.
They where all waiting at the table downstairs.
"Young woman how dare you keep us waiting". Brandon said. I had to be at the table before they could start eating, privileges that came with being a gold.
"good morning everyone".I said, I was not in the mood to argue.everyone was present except lady Martha. I was displeased at the sight of the food. it was egg and bread and I disliked eggs.
"flair".i shouted.
"what's wrong stop making unnecessary noise".ellis said angrily.
"yes my lady".she said.
"Why did you add eggs and who told you to make this".i said angrily.
"I am very sorry my lady the family usually have this every morning and you gave me no specific food to make".she said in a bow.
"what's the meaning of this".lady martha said angrily.
"don't you dare me this morning, look at me when am speaking to you, take this eat it you all ruined my appetite".I said angrily as I gave flair the plate and left.
I went back to the room,I was feeling angry I stayed in the room all day and then at 8pm thaniel entered the room.
"Good evening".I said but he ignored me.
"Why are you ignoring me".I said as I stood in front of him.
"Move".he said.
"I won't you have spoken to me after what happened yesterday".i said
"look what happened yesterday was a big mistake,the truth is i wanted to have you before ellis could do that just forget about it" he said coldly then I fell back in shock.
"Wha....t, bu...t you sai...d you were interested in m....e".I stammered
"Never, don't be so naive you are child and you are certainly not my type local girl".he said and left. I felt a sting in my chest,he decieved me and I fell for it. I packed all my clothes from the closet into a box and left the room.
I went downstairs they where already eating with lady Marie.
"Why are you eating without my permission".I said angrily.
"How dare you talk like that have you no manners".lady Marie said she looked better but her face was still disfigured.
"look I am sure that these foxes here haven't told you but I was the one that saved your life, the poison could have killed you and then i gave them three conditions and they agreed". I said.she looked surprised.
"Brandon is this true". lady Marie said.
"Yes mother we had no other option".brandon said calmly.
"How come anyone never told me about this, I am ashamed to call anyone here my family". lady Marie said.
"should we have let you die mother". ellis said.
"We had no other option".draco said.
"You all are cowards, fool,I won't let you ruin things for me we are not fulfilling your condition".lady marie said.
"Then be prepared for the misfortune".I said
"Mother we took an oath,we must fulfil the conditions". Brandon said in fear.
"You all are cowards nothing bad will happen as for you,I will teach you a very big lesson". lady Marie said.
"I am ready but I want a divorce".I said....
