chapter Seven: Timothy

"what do you have to say for yourself". Timothy said calmly as lady Marie entered her room. she was surprised to see him.

"Timothy you scared me,you should have called or texted me".lady Marie said as she locked the door.

"You don't give me orders,Marie it seems you have forgotten your place."Timothy said as he stood up.

"Timothy don't talk to me like that, you aren't the boss but his messenger and I wouldn't have you disrespect me in my own house".I said calmly.

"That's very bold of you to say,you know the boss is not pleased after hearing the incident you know how it took six months to dig that hole but you messed it up".Timothy said.

"We can always dig another hole".lady Marie said. Timothy glared at her.

"I don't blame you for your lack of knowledge, we can't dig a hole like that now we will have to wait for six years,I don't know what type of explosives they used, look you have to investigate".Timothy said.

"You have to come up with a plan and I don't need to investigate it must be that local girl she must have done this".lady Marie said.

"we don't have evidence besides she can't possibly get such an explosive and she was home working all day I think it's one of your numerous enemies, gosh I hate enemies that fight from behind".he said as he adjusted his glasses.

"it's true I have to find the person that has the audacity to do such a thing,look Timothy stop with all this your pretentious act, My brother is a good man and principled man but you are just so wicked like mother like son".lady Marie said.he laughed.

"Wow Marie that's rich coming from you, you execute all the plans I just give you the instructions,so now you refer to my father as your brother and yet you and your sons disrespect him,well I am so tired I need to sleep".he said and left.

"Just wait Timothy I will teach you a lesson".she said angrily as she threw a glass at the door.

I came out of the bathroom to see thaniel reading some papers.I couldn't understand him at all, he so boring.

"I saw you smiling outside did you really do it".thaniel said in suprise as he looked at me.

"No I didn't".I said smiling. I couldn't hide my happiness.

"Gosh you are so stubborn,I wonder where you get all your strength from".he said smiling.

"I am a local girl, so let's say am used this ".I said as I was about to sit down on the bed when I saw a tray of food. I was really hungry so I ate hurriedly with my hands.

"Slow down okay".he said with disgust. I didn't really care about what he said.

"look away'.I said and continued with the food.

I finished eating and then I washed my hands and sat on the bed.

"Come here".he said.

"What do you want".I said as I stood up and walked to him.

"Look at these are medicines, take two of this one and one of that one do you understand".he said.

"yes thank you am not stupid".I said as I collected the drugs from him angrily.

"You are just to much, I can't deal with you".he said and then he turned on the big screen with something in his hands.

"Wow this is amazing".I said smiling I could see different people on the screen.

"haven't you seen a TV before".he said mockingly.

"What do you mean by TV".I asked ignoring his rude comment.

"This is called a television, and this thing on my hand is called a remote, it is used to control the television like turning it off and on, and many other functions".he said.

"Wow I haven't seen it before, look can you teach me please".I said as I ran to his side.

"look am really busy with work".he said

"I will wait for you".I begged.

"Fine".he said and then he taught me and I went to sleep.

I woke up the next day happy,thaniel wasn't in the room so I opened the windows, it was so nice to receive the sunlight and breeze .then thaniel entered the room.

"how dare you open the windows".thaniel said angrily. I had never seen him so angry before.

"look please calm down I just wanted to see".I said but he didn't answer he closed the windows.

"how dare you think that you can come into my room and misbehave,I have to put up with a local girl and a child for that matter, yesterday you left the room only for you to go outside braless and you even appeared in front of the family. I was so embarrassed,how could you be so stupid,you know what don't you ever touch anything that is mine, I don't care about what happens to you".he yelled and left.

I cried my eyes out,I felt so bad I wasn't used to wearing bra and it was really tight, back in my town all our clothes were padded.

I showered and left the room.I was on my way downstairs when Ellis stopped me.

"what's is the meaning of this".I said calmly.

"look I like you,I think my brother doesn't suit you, you need a real man like me".he said as he held my hand his grip was too strong.

"Ellis let me go I am your brother's wife".I said

"but he doesn't make you happy look your eyes are swollen he makes you cry".Ellis said.

"Ellis let me go,I neither like you nor your brother do you understand and I wasn't crying because of him".I said angrily and I kicked his leg.

"Ouch".he said in pain.

"If you touch me again without my permission you will see my crazy, piece of trash".I said and left.

I got downstairs to see lady Marie and lady Martha talking.

"look who we have here, it looks like you have forgotten your manners you only come out of your room when it's time for dinner".lady Martha said.

"Good evening lady Marie."I said.

"leave don't trouble me".lady Marie said angrily. I went to the kitchen, flair was done cooking the food she was serving.

"good evening flair".I said.

"good evening Light".she said she looked so exhausted.

"I am really sorry from now on I will help you out let me serve the food while you set the table".I said taking the spoon from her.

"light I had already done that thank you I will just take this to the table".she said and carried the food.I wondered why they cooked such a small quantity of food.

"your eyes are swollen did you cry".flair said.

"why will I cry,my eyes are paining me".I lied.

"look light,I know it's hard for you, these but everyone here is trying to survive and you should too".she said smiling.

"thank you flair."I said as I dropped the spoon I was done serving.

"Everyone is at the table now".she said.

"I will go but how did you feel yesterday when the hole got destroyed".I said smiling.

"I was really happy but Lady marie will look for another way to torture us did you destroy the hole".she whispered.I couldn't trust anyone,they were already suspecting me so I needed a distraction.

"she is a cunning woman,but that's a silly question,I didn't do it but I overheard Ellis saying that he destroyed the hole".I said.

"really".she said I knew she would spread the rumour in no time.

"look don't tell anyone I will go now".I said and left.

"she has come to ruin the meal".lady Martha grumbled as I walked in. everyone was there except from thaniel and then Ellis walked in.he was limping

"Ellis what's wrong".lady Marie asked he glared at me.

"I fell down mother".he said as he sat down.

"That's a first,but it doesn't seem like it".lady Martha said smiling.I was about to sit down but Brandon stopped me.

"Don't you know the structure"..........
