chapter three.....The family.

"Mother for how long will we have to put up with this nonsense".Brandon said as he sat down. he is the first son.

"I can't believe we have to wait for him all the time".Ellis said, he is the second son.

"He is mother's favourite son am not surprised". Draco said the third son.

"Not another word from all you,I raised you better".lady Marie said. she was the matraich of the family.

"good morning lady Marie".Lady Martha said as she sat down.she was Marie's older sister, currently divorced.

"good morning lady Marie". beth said, she was Martha's daughter.

"good morning lady Marie".lord mattews said . he was Marie's older brother.

"good morning lady Marie". Timothy said. he was mattews son.

"Good morning y'all".lady Marie said.

"how do we have to wait mother".Brandon said.

"you will not question my authority, you don't end in the hole".lady Marie warned.

"Mother it's been six months since, his wife died".Draco said.

"Enough, not another word or else".lady Marie said.

"Good morning mother".thaniel said as mark rolled the wheel chair.

"good morning my lady".mark said he was thaniel's care taker.

"we have been waiting for you".Brandon said angrily.

"I didn't ask you to wait".thaniel said coldly he was the last son.

"I have an announcement to make, thaniel you had better get rid of the blackclothes you have been wearing, your new wife is coming today".lady Marie said.

"Mother do as you please but I don't consider her my wife".thaniel said.

"you will have to dear child, let's eat".lady Marie said. he knew his mother always had her way.

"Mother,I lost my wife six months ago and this is the second time you are getting me married after her death".thaniel said in disbelief.

"The beef is very tender, I love it".lady Marie said ignoring his question.

"she isn't waking up, did we give her an overdose,I hope she doesn't die on us".lady rose said as she sprinkled water on my face.

"why did you lace the bread with sleeping drugs, I warned you she has been asleep since two days".Dylan said as he prepared an injection.

"I couldn't take the risk, what if she had run away we could have been in trouble I hope this wakes her up, we are almost close to Mansion, driver slow down the car".lady rose panicked.

"she should wake up now don't listen to her lady rose will kill us if we are late".Dylan said after injecting me.

"where am l".I said as I opened my eyes, the last thing I could remember was sleeping in the cabin after eating the bread.

"Welcome to Capetown,can you see me".lady rose said nervously.

"Yes I can but I feel dizzy".I said weakly.

"don't worry you will be fine close your eyes.".Dylan said. then I closed my eyes.

"we are here Dylan".lady rose said calmly as the driver drove inside the gates.

"Open your eyes".he said and I did.

"were are we".I said I could see properly now and wasn't dizzy.

"This is your home".she said. the car stopped us at the front of the house.

"Wow this carriage is different".I said as I came out of the car.

"it's a car".Dylan said.

"Come with me you need wash before entering the main house".lady rose said, I followed her to the back. They were two houses at the back, but two hefty body guards where standing in front of one.

"welcome to my humble abode".she said as we entered the house. it was beautiful and neat.

"everything looks different here, their garden is very big, even your house is different and the carr....".

"look girl you will have to adjust, there is the bathroom I will get your clothes ready".lady rose said.she was an impatient woman.

I went to the bathroom, everything was so different, I couldn't see a wooden tub I didn't understand how to use the bathroom, back home we would get water from the well fill it in the wooden tub and bathe.

"why are you standing bathe".lady rose said as she opened the door.

"I don't know how to use these stuff, there is no wooden tub". I said.

"I hate tubs, look this called a tap you on like this, it fills the water in bucket and then you turn it off, Now this is called a tooth paste for brushing your teeths you apply on the brush and you brush your teeths very clean".she said.

"At home we use vinegar to clean our mouths".I said.

"this isn't your home, do as I say we don't have enough time wear this after bathing.".she said angrily.

I wasted alot of time in the bathroom because I found it very difficult to bathe without a wooden tub.

"please sit down".lady rose said angrily as I came out of the bathroom.

"the dress is comfortable but can I get a veil to cover my shoulders".I said smiling.it was a long free gown.

"Ofcourse not".she said as she packed my hair into a bun.

"but my shoul....."

"please just let me be".she said with irritation, she applied a simple make up on my face and we left.

"My lady has been expecting you".Dylan said as he opened the doors.The mansion was very different, beautiful artwork and paintings, the furniture was equiste and beautiful. then I saw a big screen on the wall, I couldn't help but wonder what it was. we went upstairs to Lady Marie's meeting room.

"lady Marie she has arrived". Dylan said in a bow.

"lady Marie she is the bride".lady rose said in a courtesy. lady Marie and the family members looked scary and intimating, they looked dangerous.

"lady Marie my name is light".I said in a courtesy.

"how dare you speak when you weren't asked to".Brandon yelled.

"Sir am I supposed to stand here like a fool".I said.

"How dare you talk back at me".he said.

"I only answered your question sir".I defended.

"I like her she is a feisty girl".Ellis said smiling.he was undressing me with his eyes. I glared at him.

"Ellis she is your brother's wife".Draco said.

"I must say she is younger than Beth". Lady Martha said.

"the younger the better aunt".Ellis said.

"will she be capable of satisfying her husband in bed".lady Martha said. I was disgusted by their topic how can they be so vuglar.

"Why not she will be very much satisfying but it's a pity that thaniel is a fool". Ellis said smiling.

"lady Marie I haven't heard a word from you".I said,then she stood up,walked up to me and slapped me.

"You have a sharp tongue,how dare you look me in the eye and speak when you weren't told to".she said.

" am I a fool". I said angrily. Dylan was about to stand up.

"No Dylan,I can handle her hand my whip".lady Marie said and Dylan gave her the whip.

"she can't do this,this is so wrong".I said but everyone kept quiet. she held my neck,I couldn't breathe she was strangling me. her fingers was digging into my skin. then I kicked her leg ,she screamed in pain and then she let me go.

"how dare you".Brandon yelled but the rest of them were trying to hide their smiles.

"don't come in between us".lady Marie said angrily as she held her leg. I trying to breathe and my neck was injured.

"you tried to kill me, I didn't disrespect you I only introduced myself....".

"She is characterless, she isn't a proper lady your parents must be stupid like you".lady Marie said.

"You can insult me but not my parents, they have done nothing wrong".I said angrily.

"you have a sharp tongue right, put her in the hole she is unfit to be my son's wife ".Lady marie said.

"You can do this".I said in fright. the guards were about to touch me.

"don't you dare touch my wife".thaniel said .............
