"You must be out of your mind,you almost got killed i won't be able to forgive myself if anything happens to you"she said.

"look flair I won't give up so easily I need to make my papa proud".I said smiling.

"light please be careful, how did your husband react".she said.

"My ex husband, well I ran to his room and he hid me in his secret chamber and he saved my leg".I said.

"You are so impossible you can't go around with that Bandage, it's too risky".she said worriedly.

"Why?,am always wearing trousers they won't see it but I know what to do okay".I said.

"You should take a break from all this".flair said.

"I won't do that am not going to take a break, look I overheard lady marie talking to someone I couldn't see the person's face but the voice sounded very familiar".I said.

"So you think someone is working with lady Marie".Flair said.

"They are both working together for someone called the boss,I need more information so I need your ears to be alert also do you know anything about the rebel group,I think they are planning something bad against them I need to reach out and warn them".I said.

"No I don't know anything but I know lord dayley and lady belle are heading the group ,I will be at alert let's sleep now" she said.

"You sleep first okay".I said.

"Promise me you won't go back there".she said,she was too stubborn for my liking.

"Promise".I said and she lied down.I waited for her to sleep ,changed,took a bowl of water and then I left the room.I struggled to walk to the fields,I picked some herbs and I sat down,I was in so much pain then I grinded the herbs with a stone and then I removed the bandage and applied the herbs to the Injury.the pain was unbearable but I had to endure it until it subsided,I added the remaining herbs in the water,drank it and slept off.

"Wake up beautiful".emily said as she tapped me rudely.

"please let me sleep".I begged with my eyes closed.

"If dylan sees you sleeping here you will be in so much trouble".she said and I opened my eyes.

"Emily thank you".I managed to say,I was very tired.

"Go and sweep the driveway".she said and left.

I stood up,the leg was better than yesterday, the herbs helped the reduced pain,but I still couldn't walk properly.I was sweeping the driveway when I saw ellis come out of the house,he looked very happy,I guess he also wants his mother dead.

"You fool come here".He shouted. I was so surprised. but I went to him.

"My lord what did I do".I said and then he held me by my collar.

"Sorry,I don't want them to think we are working together I am so proud of you".he whispered. as he let go of my collar

"Sir please I wasn't in my right mind,I shouldn't have swept dust on your car".I said,I had to play along.

"You are a fool,this car costs more than your life, how do you intend to fix this".he yelled.

"I am so sorry my lord".I said as I knelt down.

"I am in a good mood today so I will let it slide, open the door for me".he said and I stood up then I opened it.

"I am so sorry sir".I said he held me by the collar.

"What do you want".he whispered as he glared at me.

"I want you to gather information on the rebel group and reach out to lady belle, send her letters so she doesn't know that it's you".I whispered. he pushed me on the floor,locked the door and drove off.

I stood up only to see thaniel,he was dressed for work and he was holding a gift bag.he looked irritated.

"Good morning sir".I said.

"good morning,how is your leg".he said he was trying to hide his irritation.

"It's fine sir, please excuse I have to go back to my duty."I said.

"Do you love him that much,he doesn't even treat you nicely".he said.I couldn't believe my ears.

"He was just angry It's my fault".I defended,I was so happy that thaniel was jealous but I couldn't express it.

"That's no way to treat a girl,I must say you have a very bad taste when it comes to men". he said.

"Sir, please I won't allow you to disrespect him, it's none of your business".I said.

"I know it's none of my buisness but I am just looking out for you,just forget I got you this".he said as he stretched out the bag.

"You don't have to worry about me,I don't want anything from you".I said.

"I decided that I will niether be an obstacle nor a supporter but a friend that can take care of you when you are hurt take this I am late for work".he said I was so surprised at his answer,I collected it and he left.

I swept the driveway hurriedly,I was too excited and couldn't wait to open the bag and then I went back to the storage,I sat down in a corner and I opened it.I was so surprised, it was shampoo,ointment,medicine and chocolates.

"I can see your husband is being romantic". flair said as she tapped me.

"Ex husband but I am going to return these,I didn't hear the door open".I said smiling.

"You were thinking about your husband so how could you know".She said.

"Stop it".I said smiling. then the door open.

"Everyone come outside now".dylan shouted

"Let's hide".I said as I dragged her to a corner.

"It's too risky".she whispered.

"Let's listen to what they have to say".I whispered.

"We can finally talk now".Dylan said as he locked the door.

"Dylan have you gotten any information". brandon said anxiously.

"yes I have valuable information".dylan said calmly

"Who gave you the information because all my informants haven't given me any useful information".brandon said anxiously.

"Look I need you to calm down".dylan said.

"I am calm".brandon said he was sweating profusely,I had never seen that side of him before.

"Look I know you are scared but everything will be fine,she hasn't given you the medicine right".dylan said.

"Yes she hasn't,Lady marie has refused to give me unless I provide useful information". Brandon said his hands were trembling.

"Look you have to calm down nobody can know about your condition".dylan said.

"Dylan my friend,I can't do it anymore I have watched her kill so many people,now she is planning to burn them to death that's too cruel."Brandon said.I was so surprised so brandon was at the mercy of his mother.

"that's the only way you can survive,I wonder why the assassin didn't kill her".dylan said.

"I misjudged brandon,the truth is she had all of them at her mercy that's why none of them could challenge her,we need to find out who she is working with in the house".I whispered.

"We need to also inform lady belle secretly about lady Marie's plan,what do you want to do with Brandon.".flair said.
