I always wondered what being normal felt like, and I always wanted to fit in while desperately keeping my insanity to stay beneath closed doors.

I found it very hard to be both seen as a normal everyday human being within the reality I perceived as ideal, but sometimes the reality one sees as perfect, can come crashing down with a single misinterpreted view regarding normality in a world as most would view as both a form mentally corrupt and a threat to what others would call a ideal reality

Trapped inside the void between our realitys
I find myself in a dark void while trying to find a way out with my blurred vision, while still trying to see clearly. I try to make my way down the darkened void, feeling my surroundings with my hands, as my vision starts to become clearer I see a silhouette just ahead of me, but the silhouette is not resembling a normal human being or animal, the figure ahead of me doesn’t face towards my way, they face ahead. I try to call out to the figure, but the figure doesn’t respond or turn to face me, almost like the figure couldn’t hear me. I try to walk closer to the figure, but then the figure speaks, but the figure spoke what sounded like a different language, and without facing me I realize what the figure is saying and I noticed what the figure was wearing. The figure sounded like a male, with a half hearted and sarcastic tone, who was wearing formal attire which resembled business ware, but his attire was different from regular business clothes, he continued to look ahead, but I noticed he had on a red shirt with cuffed sleeves and a tie around his neck, his hair was a semi messy brownish blonde color, and he wore black denim jeans along with athletic sneakers. He doesn’t seem to notice me staring at him and continued staring ahead, I also made out a symbol or emblem on the right side of his shoulder, but it looked twisted and shimmered with a lime green hue. The symbol resembled a skull with a crown above its head, along with a fiery glowing blackened eye where one of the skulls eyes should be, but it didn’t look like regular fire, it was green and it was glowing as if it were a beating drum. It continued to glow, and I felt like I wanted to rip off the emblem on his shoulder and throw it into the dark void. I started to walk even closer reaching out my hand to grab the emblem, but then he spoke in a low yet almost playful tone, and then turned around to finally face me and I understood who he was and why he was here. “I wouldn’t recommend touching the crest on my shoulder, it could harm a young lady like yourself” he said smiling, I stared at him, with anger and hatred forming inside me almost resembling a gasoline container being lit by a sparking wire. I glared at him but he just smiled and held out his hand towards me, but I swatted his gesture away. He seemed disappointed but he began to smirk and stepped to the side of the dark void like hallway, and ushered me to walk with him, and without thinking I began to walk ahead. I walked as he closely followed behind me and I could see him continue to smirk out of the corner of my eye, I wanted to walk straight back down where we’d come from but I couldn’t find the urge to stop walking amd turn around. I started to look around and I saw the void around us begin to disperse into a street and I knew where I was heading, I was walking down the street where I remembered being watched across the street from the window in a restaurant and he was the one watching me. We walked toward the restaurant but before I walked to the door I noticed an array of posters but they weren’t the normal everyday posters in the restaurants side window, they were posters of him, surrounded by his friends and his father, alongside them was none other than me but I looked like I was a altered version of me and the words below the picture said “betrothed and be wed, the next generation is upon us, let our two worlds rise together and bring forth the New World Order” I stared at the words on the poster and I noticed what I was wearing in the picture of me, no the altered me. I had long black hair, but it was tied up neatly in a high ponytail but i wore a tiara studded with small emeralds and a ruby in the form of a skull, I also wore a necklace but the necklace held a ring on it, but it wasn’t just any ring it was a ring with the gem that I knew was none other then the notorious and cursed Hope Diamond, I knew who the ring had originally belonged to, it was the Crown Prince’s betrothal ring that was aimed towards the bringer of the new era, and I had been chosen but I didn’t want to be the crown princess, I didn’t want to rule alongside a malicious Prince who’s father is the current ruler, but the Princes father was the ruler of the underworld, and like himself, could raise the dead who couldn’t be stopped. I knew why I had been brought here now, and the Prince didn’t waste any precious time to show me, I then turned to him and he smiled back at me as if this was something to be celebrated. “You know you cannot escape my Lady, our worlds will soon unite and you can not escape the future that is upon us, now shall we go inside?” He said smiling bright as he opened the door and ushered me to come in. I hesitated but then walked in as he followed behind, and when I walked into the restaurant I knew I had made a deadly mistake. The tables were covered in elegant but twisted decor, with the table clothes having been woven spider webs into silky table cloth lace with the rulers emblem embedded into the silk cloth. The decorations looked slightly off with the tables center decor being different from every table but still corresponding with each other, the decor in the center of each table was a large ceramic white vase with roses that had been dipped in demons blood which gave the roses a very dark black color along with the veins in the petals of the roses showing signs of green glowing strands with the vase itself showing images of the current underground ruler and his additional family as well as one vase having the royal crest of the underground’s ruler. The plates had different images of demons with the cups being made of fresh water crystal and imbedded with sapphires and rubies. Alongside the empty tables a single waiter was stationed at the table in the middle of the restaurant, he was neatly dressed and was very void of emotion.
