There was something about the way he said my name that made me stop. It had to be the tone of his voice. It reminded me about Sophia. She called me that way whenever she was just about to do something really evil.
The thought of her dampened my mood but I didn't let it stick for long. There was no way I was going to let her have any form of control over me, especially mentally. He took some of the medicine after that and we waited a little before he got up so we could get out of here.
