Rhea’s POV The moment I step into the living room, the air becomes heavy, mother and Father stay stiff and silent. Sophia takes a few movements and sits near Mother with her legs crossed, a soft smile already forming when she sees me. No one speaks at first but then, father finally breaks the silence. “Rhea,” he says firmly, “where have you been going for the past few days?” His voice is not angry, but it is cold, his alpha aura flaring. I keep my posture straight and respectful, even though my heart beats too fast. “Alpha, I’ve only been going to check on Grandfather,” I answer quietly. “I finish all my chores before leaving.
