Rhea’s POV The day of the party finally comes, and I wake up at five o’clock AMsharp, before the sun even thinks about rising. I try to do all my chores. scrub the kitchen floors, wipe down every counter until it shines, fold the laundry that piled up. I don’t want anyone to have a single reason to complain today. By six-thirty I’m sweating and my hands are red from bleach, but everything is perfect. I rush upstairs, shower fast, and dry my hair. When I open the closet, the only thing hanging there that isn’t one of my worn dresses, it’s the dress Luna Elena left on my bed yesterday evening, saying i should put it on today.
