“Zain how is she?”
I raised my head to see Lewis, Natasha, Damien, and Becky standing behind me.
I didn’t hear them walk in.
I was sitting alone in the living room with my mind elsewhere, which is why I didn’t notice them.
I let out a sigh before answering.
“She is upstairs. She has refused to talk to anyone since the news came in. I don’t know what else to do with her. She hasn’t said a single word to me. The only time she talks is to herself, and she keeps saying the same words over and over again. She refuses to believe that her family is gone.”
