Chapter Twenty-Five

SIENNA'S POV

It felt like when I finally could manage to sleep I was woken up and dragged out the house by an all excited mum.

She was thrilled for mum and daughter time, I however needed a few Cups of coffee before I could get excited. Only to then be dragged around a ship to pick a outfit for the fireworks display.

Apperently dad insisted on it including a new coat. I thought that would be it but no we then was booked in for our nails to be done. I opted for the classic French maincure deciding simply was just the best sometimes. But then we was booked in with a hair dresser and I ended up doing something a little wild.

I had my hair dyed pale pink which I loved. My mum was a little surprised when I requested it but was even more shocked when it suited me. I had it styled so it was a messy bun with a few strands of of loose curls coming down at the side of my face. I was so ready to eat after that but no, dad hasn't stopped there he had gone the full works as then we had our make up done.

I wanted a natural but flawless look to match my nails and a hint of pink. Which they gave my eyes with red lipstick. I couldn't deny even I felt food about myself after this.

I didn't think I could look so good. Thankfully we grabbed a sandwich meal deal on the way home. Which I mullered before we even reached the car.

Just when I thought I could have a few minutes to myself when we got in my dad sent me and my mum upstairs to get changed and show him what we brought.

So here I am now stood infront of the mirror with the black jeans. Black three quarter length boots that are also furry inside. A simple white t-shirt and nice light grey mid length knitted cardigan as well as a long grey furred hood coat to match aswell to put on when going outside later.

I look the whole new make over I've had and hurry off to to show my dad aswell as thank him.

The second I reach the top of the stairs I hear my dad says "I love it. You look amazing. Even the hair, I must say I didn't except it but just wow".

"Thanks dad, I didn't know I needed such a make over until you gave me a nudge" I say reaching the bottom of the stairs and hugging my dad.

"Your welcome. I do have another surpise though soon. I fear your ruin your make up crying though" My dad says looking nervous all of a sudden..

"No, she won't. I requested water proof mascaras for us both as I think I will probably cry myself" I hear my mum say and I turn to see my mum coming down the stairs in blue jeans little brown boots and a brown jumper she choose. She even went a little wild herself having her hair cut alot shorter than usual with it styled to shape her lovely face.

"I must be blessed to have the world's best looking wife and best looking daughter" My dad says.

"Of course you are dad. But whats this surpise, you have me nervous now" I say

"Your have to wait and see. Come show your brother and Maria your new look there in the garden already" my dad says

We head out to the garden and I see loads of garden furniture set up with snacks on tables. Fire pits in the middle of the tables set up on sections. To the side tables there's snacks everywhere. The garden mini bar is all ready to go and all the garden lights are on. It looks amazing but I wonder as I see Sid and Maria sat at a table just how many people will be coming. Feeling anxious at the possibility of ao many people already.

"About time" Sid say standing up but a second later he does a double take of me as he say "Damn, what did you do to your hair. It looks amazing! You look stunning but, just wow".

"He is right your looking smoking hot" Maria says.

"Thanks" I say as we walk over to them.

"Okay, I hate to cut this short but you can continue to marvel and admire over Siennas new look afterwards. We are running out of time before people arrive and I want this part just the imdiate family" My dad says.

"Wait, wheres Jordan?" I ask.

"Oh, with my parents inside" Maria says

"Yeah, dont worry he will be fine" my mum says taking my hand. And I look at her as my dad says "So I've decided firework night is going to be something, I do personally for all my grandchildren" I whip my head round to look at my dad so quick its possible I've given myself whip lash..

"Yes, Sienna I said all my grandchildren including the little angels in the sky. fireworks will light up the sky and as Jordan grows up he will love it. But beforehand we are always going to send lanterns up with messages to your babys. Our grandbabies. They won't ever be forgotten. I wanted to do something not only for you but for all of us so you know we won't ever forget just like you won't" My dad says and I feel my eyes welling up already. He wasn't wrong about me crying. My mum squeezes my hand as she says "We all already wrote our messages. You can read them if you want to? You have yours to do though still" with that Sid reaches for something on a table and I see a he has picked up a lantern with a gold pen.

"It's lovely, thankyou" I say blinking to try stop the tears before taking pen and lantern.

"Your welcome" My dad says and I can hear he sounds emotional as well.

"We will make sure we come every year. we won't ever forget as well. We can tell them messages how much we love them and how we wish they could of stayed. We would tell them how amazing you are but we know they already know that" Sid says.

"I don't know what to say. I didn't expect this and these are not just sad tears there happy tears at knowing you all care so much as well. I already knew it from when I laid flowers and teddy's at the grave coming back. I see the care and gifts left there. It really does means alot" I say taking a seat to use the table next to it so I can write my message

"You really thought we would forget? Never" Maria says taking a seat next to me and I look up at everyone. There all crying and my mum is hugging my dad..

"I don't know what to write? can babys even read in heaven?" I ask and my mum chuckles at my comment.

"If they can't your nans and grandads all our loved one will read them to them. Just like your not alone here they won't be alone up there in heaven.. there be surrounded with so much love just like the love we have down here for them" my mum says and it really helped me feel a little better hearing such words.

"Okay, I think I know what to write. But I don't need to read what you all wrote, I know the messages will be making me cry more and dad went to so much effort to make me look this good. Plus I know there be filled with warmth, laughter and love like mum said" I say.

With that I simply write

Mummy loves you all, forever and after. infinity and beyond. Be good for everyone up there. Give my nanas and grandads extra hugs from me. love from mummy xxx sleeptight my angel babies xxx

"Done" I say looking up and everyone smiles at me as my dad says "Okay let's get these messages flying high so these babys can have a extra night light with warming bedtime messages".

We all light out lanterns and gather round in a circle. My mum and dad both stand to my side of me.

"All together or separately?" My dad asks me.

"All together" I say

"Okay on three" My dad says followed by "One, two, three" with that we all hold the lanterns up to the sky quickly to catch the wind a few lift off being dads and Marias. I try again and my dad helps me while Maria trys to help my mum. This time mine goes off and sids goes off a second later. My dad then helps my mum and her follows up not far behind.. we all stand there watching them drift off into the sky.

"It was perfect. Thankyou" I say and my mum and dad both take my hands and gently squeeze them while we watch until there out of sight.

"I have a gift for you as well.. I wasn't sure when to give it to you as I didn't want to upset you. But when dad said about this I knew it would be the perfect time" Sid says and I look at him as he then hands me a little jewellery box. I take the box as I say "I'm not sure it will top dads surpises today"

"It doesn't matter if it doesn't" Sid says

I open the box and see a gold ring that says mum. I had it custom made. If you look underneath Your see a engraved picture of three angel babys and even the initials of each the names you told us that time that you call them. Its so tiny though your need a microscope to look at it.. but its so personal that no one needs to know unless you want them to" Sid says once again my eyes well up as I take it the ring out the box to have a look.. I move near a garden light to have a look and I just about make out the pictures..

"Its lovely" I say my eyes welling up again.

"Put it on. I stole one of your other rings to make sure it would fit" Sid says

"Yeah, then I had to sneak it back to your room" Maria says as I try it on and it fits my finger perfectly.

"I won't ever take it off unless I want to admire it" I say going to hug Sid.

"Thats okay, now you can play with the ring when your anxious, I'm always worried your break your necklace then have be deversated because you broke it fiddling with it" Sid says and I can't help laughing

as I step back and hug Maria, knowing that would likely happen to me as well.

ETHAN'S POV

Bloody traffic had me running late.. I knew I should of cancelled todays meeting today, I think getting out the door and running up to the house to knock the door.

Maria answers the door and instead of letting me in she comes out and says "These people are savage.. most of them haven't seen Sienna but heard obviously what happened anyone would think there attending a funeral.. Oh and the ones that did attend the funeral of course they haven't seen Sienna since then.

So there also doing the whole. How are you holding up? You back to work yet? And if its not them questions it's the so has Clive been sentenced yet? Whats he looking at over there questions" Maria rants.

"f*****g hell" I say walking in and Maria follows.

"Oh by the way your mum is looking for you and she isn't happy" Maria says. I stop looking at Maria and say "My mums here?"

"Oh yeah, did you forget all our parents got invited" Maria says.

"Nevermind that right now. Wheres Sienna?" I ask.

"What do you mean nevermind that. I'm your mother Ethan" I hear my mum say sounding annoyed. Then Maria says quietly so I can hear before she runs of "In her room Sid, Charlie and Harry are with her while Ian and Sue ask everyone to kindly not ask Sienna to many questions as Ian really wants her outside for fireworks".

"Mmmuuuuum, you know that's not how I ment it. I always love seeing you" I say cheerfully holding out my arms to hug my mum as she walks down from the stairs.

"That better be the case. How come you haven't come to see me in so long?" My mum asks putting on her fake hurt voice.

"Works been hectic" I say pulling a help me pitiful look.

"You could never lie to me.. I know its because Siennas back. I also know how you feel about her. Are you going to ask her out and chase her? Because if you do, I'm telling you now, make sure you wait until its the right time.. I was just with her now and I gave her some wise words. Do me a favour though as she is about to come down after I had a little chat with her. look after her, oh and in future just bring Sienna along to see me with you. You know, I always loved that girl. Now I'm going to see my friends it's been so long and I've not wanted to burden them much as they have had alot to deal with, as you know to well" My mum says surprising me

"Okay, I will. I promise but what did you say to Sienna?" I ask.

"I said, I'd hire the whole damn firm to come put a body sheild around her but I knew you would be here soon and with all her best friends by her side they could all distract people. Failing that I'd have to do it myself and show you how it's done by resorting to throwing noisy people out" My mum says and there it is the mum I expected.

"And it worked?" I asked shocked

"No, Sid promised to hide her in sneaking out in a corner somewhere while the fireworks go off with a nice strong drink followed by a quick escape" My mum says and I think that sounds more like it.

"Okay" I say and with that my mum hurry off to find her friends. I turn to go find the others but to my surprise I see Sienna, Sid, Charlie and Harry coming down the stairs.

"You look stunningly beautiful" I say taking in Siennas appearance.

"That what I said" Harry says.

"Yeah and I said she is one hot rocking princess" Charlie says as they reach the bottom..

"Lets hurry and get outside before dad has a panic attack or Sienna has a mental breakdown" Sid says looking thr most stressed out of everyone.
