Chapter Fourty-Five

SIENNA'S POV

This wasnt what I expected at all. I was shocked and surprised. I decided the best person to speak to though was Amy herself about it.

I knocked on the door and I heard "Come in Sienna" of course she was expecting me I thought mentally chuckling to myself. I walked into he bedroom and see Amy sat on the bed.

"I knew you would want to see me yourself so I've been waiting. How is Ethan?" Amy says as I walk over to take the seat that's next to the bed.

"He is eating food, hopefully will make a start on sobering him up. How are you feeling?" I ask taking her hand in mine.

"I'm as good as can be expected.. but I don't want to talk about that right now I want to know how you are. How are you really?" Amy asks.

"I'm here without being summonded, I'm here because I'm ready to be back and I'm now going anywhere.. I'm me again well the new me. I won't ever be the old me again that's for sure but I also accepted that now. I'm also happy again" I say honestly.

"I'm glad to hear that. you went through so much that we all hated you suffered like that. You are the daughter I always wanted but never had. I'm glad I got to see you blossom into the the bright, excellent amazing women you have become. Don't ever forget again just how much you impact this world and how much this world needs you" Amy says smiling brightly at me.

"I won't, but I think right now as a doctor I would like to see your medical records if your allow me. I know we both know I'm no brain surgeon and I won't pretend I am, however I do know a really excellent brain surgeon who is moving here real soon. I know they said iys terminal but Tilly takes on cases that most brain surgeons refuse to do and she is good at it as she gets results. Will you allow me to at least see of there is anything possible. If there isn't I promise you will have the most comfortable best days remaining. I also promise I will have Ethan understand that, but would it hurt to have Tilly at least see of anything is possible?" I ask.

"Okay, you have my permission but don't tell anyone else unless we do have hope again now beforehand" Amy says.

"I promise I won't, now tell me how are you really feeling? what smytoms are you currently suffering and everything else from your point of view it will help me help Tilly figure out whats best to do for you" I say.

"There's a lot, make sure you get yourself a drink and comfortable beforehand" Amy says.

"Actually you know what, I can do better let me get Tilly on the phone. She may ask questions I wouldn't think off.. is that okay with you?" I ask.

"Yes, go ahead" Amy says and I get my phone out to get Tilly on facetime.

"Missing me already or checking in on the babys?" Tilly asks answering the phone.

"Actually, this is a different call. I need your expertises" I say.

"Looks like your calling in that favour" Tilly says seriously.

"I'd never call in a favour, I didn't save your uncle to call it back. But I'm no brain surgeon and you are the best to so I need your advice. Seems though we both were fated to meet as we just keep on needing each other" I say.

"Okay, even if I didn't owe you I'd still do it because its you. Let me have it" Tilly says

"Tilly, meet Amy, Ethans mum. Amy meet Tilly my best friend from Ireland" I say moving the phone so they can both see each other.

ETHAN'S POV

"I forgot how long Amy and Sienna could talk for" Charlie says standing up to stretch.

"I think its all Sienna, no matter where we were Sienna would always make us wait whilst she had girlie talks with any of our mums" Sid says laughing

"It got even worse when she had them.help her do her make up as a teenager, do you remember we would all groan and end up on the xbox playing games to curb our boredom" I say

"Thats right, and when we would try get you to hang out with us you would roll yours eyes at us as of we wasn't cool enough to hang around with.. the women would tease us men that they were the cooler parents you know" my dad says who is now sat next to me.

"What are you on about we still are the cooler ones" Sue says laughing.

"Don't worry, at least Sienna is a doctor and the best person to be around Amy right now so thats one less thing for us to worry about" Charlie says

"Good point, a doctor and a free on at that" Side says laughing.

"So long as there both happy thats the main thing" I say.

"Yeah, you ready to go inside yet or you still want to hang out here where its cold.. your lucky its not raining" Harry asks.

"We better go in before we get in trouble and warned we will catch colds" I say standing up knowing full well that will be next ok Siennas list for looking after us.

"Aviation time to, I swear my balls are ready to drop off there that frozen" Charlie says making us all laugh. And just as fast as he says it he is already inside running for his life.

"Run forest, run, quick save them balls" Harry shouts making us all laugh even more as we all head inside.

"Whats the plan next?" Harry asks.

"You don't have to stay, especially you Sid. I'm sure Maria will require you home for little man" I say as we all head for the living room.

"Were staying as long as you need us to. Plus Maria knows I wouldn't just stay out for the fun of it without consulting her and she already told you anything you need we are all here" Sids says

"So you want to miss bath time with Jordan?" I retort knowing its Sids fravote time of the day with Jordan..

"Well even of i went home now to do that Maria won't let me stinking of whisky. So I think I'm covered either way on missing out bathtime tonight" Sid say

"What you want to do poker, xbox, movie or I dunno we could even stretch as far as finding a stripper" Harry says trying to lighten the mood.

"Just because you need to get over Lola, doesn't mean we can hire a stripper in this house! If anyone needs a intervention today it should of been you" I say

"Nah, women can come and go but a mother is not replaceable. Our parents are important to us all" Harry says

"I don't know what your all going to decide go do but I'm going to sit watch a movie" My dad says taking a seat looking exhausted himself.

"A film sounds good" I say.

SIENNA'S POV

"Well it took a few hours but its official, your now my patient. Like I said earlier, I won't promise anything until I've looked through all the medical records. Its really good you had your last scan a few weeks ago and all your tests have just been done meaning I don't have to send you into the hospital. Oh, that was quick there end I've just got a email with them coming through now. I'm going to look through this all now. I will need a few hours but then I can give you my decision on what I think would be the best choice going forward. Is that okay Amy?" Tilly asks.

"Of course it is, and there is no need to hurry, I know you doctors have lots of patience after all.. Thank you for taking time just to look over it all though, its been nice getting to know you these past few hours and watching you and Sienna work together despite a sea keeping you apart I can already see the hospital won't know whats hit them when you both start work. I also can't wait to meet you in person even if you can't do anything.. you seem like such a lovely women and I'm glad our Sienna has had you by her side these past few years" Amy says.

"Oh, your just to lovely ain't you. I hope you realise though if I can operate I will want to fly in this week to do so. Sienna you know in order for that to happen if we can operate I'm going to need cover here" Amy says

"I already realised that, I'm prepared to fly back personally if you need to fly over here. How are our babies doing?" I say.

"Oh they are right on track. Just like we predicted. Lacey will probably faint if you show back up so soon" Tilly says.

"I know, right I will leave you to do what you have to do. Ring me anytime" I say.

"I will ring you in a few hours once I've read through and looked at everything. look after everyone there and say hi to your parents and Maria for me" Tilly says

"Will do, bye" I say.

"bye, and make sure you rest Amy" Tilly says

"I will, you as well" Amy says and with that we all wave before hanging up the phone.

"Tilly seems like an amazing person just like you. I can see why your friends" Amy says

"Yes she is, now do you need anything. mediation? Water? bathroom break?" I ask.

"I'm fine, I am.going to get some sleep.. you though can help me by keeping my husband and son in check" Amy says and I laugh as I say "Oh, that i can do. If you need anything just shout down and I will get you anything you need" I say standing up

"Sienna, I know its a slim chance but thank you. If Tilly can save me it would really mean the world to me. If she can't I hope you and Ethan finally make it together in this world. I will look after you both and any children you have together" Amy says and i keep the smile on my face as I say "Thankyou" but for the second time today I've heard how people want me and Ethan together having baby's.. If only they knew I've decided I'm never having any children.

My angel babys is all I need concerning children.

I headed downstairs and found everyone watching some army film. They were so engrossed in the film that no one saw me in the doorway, I decided I'd go make a drink before joining them.

As I switch on the kettle I hear Ben say "My wife may believe your what Ethan needs, but she is dieing. She won't be here afterwards the question is will you stick around or run away again during trying times. My son needs someone strong and willing to stick it out no matter what.. I don't blame you for running away before. You went through hell and back so I do understand. I just need to look out for my son right now. So unless you plan to stay firmly rooted don't bother trying to help".

I turn to face Ben he looks just as tired and worn out as everyone else does today.

"I will tell you what I told Amy, I'm better, happier now.. I've tackled my demons and more. I'm ready to be home and I'm not going anywhere. If I do it won't be for long only mini holidays or work trips otherwise my home is right here with everyone I care about dearly and love.. its my time to enjoy life. I've never abandoned any of my family or friends in there hours of need. But I won't be sorry for having to do what I did in order to be stood in front of you today. If I had not done so you would of attended my funeral" I say before turning back to make my drink.

"Very well" Ben says. I turn to look at Ben again but he has already turned around heading back to the front room. I finished making my drink before heading there myself where I sat next to my dad and cuddled up to him.

"How is Amy?" My mum asks.

"Doing well all things considered.. Very chatty as well. She had me telling her everything about Ireland" I say.

"Sounds just like Amy" my mum says

"Is she going to sleep or can I go see her?" Ethan asks.

"I can't stop you seeing your mum but she did say she was going to sleep so the choice is yours" I say.

"Don't worry, I could use some sleep myself. you stay enjoy the film I will go keep an eye on your mum" Ben says standing up.

"I don't mind of you want a good night's sleep" Ethan says

"Dont be silly, stay with your friends like I said I'm tired anyways. Goodnight everyone feel free to stay or go whichever suits you best" Ben says heading out the room.

"Give mum a goodnight kiss and hug from me" Ethan says and Ben shouts back "Always do".

"How did mum really seem, your a doctor you would know" Ethan asks..

"Well, this is no hospital and I don't have your mums medical records to hand let alone any equipment with me. just from what she said and my basic observations I'd say she is having a good day today" I say

"That's good" Charlie says sounding hopeful.

"How many more good days do you think she will have?" Ethan asks.

"I don't know, I don't have all the facts infront of me to give that answer" I say

"Okay, I can get them" Ethan says so I hold my hand out to stop him standing up as I say "It can wait, your still drunk and it can just wait until the morning at least".

"Good point it is getting late, once this film has finished I should get home" Sid says.

"Fine tomorrow morning then I will get it all" Ethan says.

"Sounds like a plan.. you going to bed after the film or you want me to stick around?" Harry asks

"Its fine" Ethan says and with that everyone goes back to watching the film.
