Bate James POV

"We have to tell her Christian! We can not keep this From her much longer!" I tell my Alpha and old friend.

"She's getting stronger and faster. You saw how she fought today! She's going to find out on her own if we don't tell her now Chris."

"I know James, I know. I'm just scared she will take it wrong and run. She's safe here with the pack even though she doesn't need to have one, we are her family and need to protect her." the Alpha says to me.

" We both know why the rogues attack today. They want her, for what I'm not sure but we have to find out and we have to keep our promises to our dear friends. She's like a daughter to me I can not lose her like we last her parents. You know my wolf has taken her as my pup. Even Sally's wolf feels this way. "I sigh let's just hope she takes this well that she stays with us moon goddess please keep her safe.

Alpha's POV

James is right I need to tell Steffie the truth. I must make sure she is safe. I will need to tell her before her birthday and bring in the team to train her and teach her who she is. She's one of our best fighters and she's getting stronger, faster she will be stronger than us Alphas. I hope my son will see this as a good thing when he takes over as Alpha and not as a threat. She's not a threat but a very good alliance to have by our side. Her family has always been our alias, always been there when we needed them but I couldn't save them I couldn't get there fast enough. But I made them a promise to keep their princess safe until my last breath and I'll keep that promise.

Kim's POV

Waking up next to my best friend and step-sister. I had the best dream ever meeting my mate, what an amazing dream to have. I get up to take a shower. After showering I get dressed in jeans, a black tank top, and a hoody with my black sneakers. Looking at my bed my BFF is still sleeping. Shaking my head at her this girl is not a morning person. I walk up to her shaking her awake. "Steffie hun wakes up," I say gently with no answer. A little louder I try again "Steffie you need to wake you we have school today." still nothing. Ag, this girl! "Steffie we are going to be late for school to get your butt out of bed now!" I scream to her. Finally, she wakes up. "I'm awake, I'm awake!" well at least she up now. She looks around noticing that she's not in her room, I just smile at her. "Stef go take a shower you can lean some of my clothes for today otherwise we are going to be late." she just nodded getting out of bed going to shower. I love that girl she is my best friend and my sister we are always together and I wouldn't know what to do without her. I'm hoping she will be mated to one of the wolves in our pack, some Wolfchase human mates. I have a feeling my mate is Ben, He has been keeping his eye on me for a while now his birthday was last week so he might already feel the bond but won't know for sure till I'm 18.

What's bothering me is this my BFF is human but she can keep up to us wolfs with ease I've never seen a human able of doing that. When she fights she's like a war angel ready for anything. She's got this glow to her its amazing and scary at the same time. Steffie snaps me out of my thoughts. "Kim I'm done we can go, sorry for falling asleep in your bed again last night."

"no worries sus, you know I don't mind one bit. It was fun watching Netflix with you." I tell her hugging her.

We are off to school but stop for breakfast like we always do. Ben is there this morning I can't keep my eyes off him. His gorgeous dark hair, tall and handsome. He can be a jerk sometimes but inside his a real softy. He sees me checking him out and gives me a knowing smirk. Cocky much! "Kim are you into Ben? I thought you had a thing for Donavan?" says Steffie confused. Ben heard what she said and growled glaring at her. Ha! I was right he is my mate. Blushing I kick her o. The leg to get her to shut up but Steffie never knows when to keep quiet." Don't you growl at me wolf boy, I'll say what I want when I want to. Okay! I don't care if you have a thing for Kim or not buddy!"
