It's all a play?

CHAPTER FOUR

Mathematics was okay, although, a lot of students stared  at me, mostly girls. They gave me the look of 'what do you have that made him stand up for you'. I was  also confused. Did he really stand up for me because he has been bullied in the past and could not take what Joseph was doing to me. Maybe, that is why he left his former school for this school. 

I walked down the hallway with Maya by my side. Maya and I are not really close. Alexia is kind of in the middle of our friendship. She is close to me and Maya. Though we both talk, it is not for long. We  talk mainly about school. 

We saw Alexia running towards us with a big smile on her face. She dragged us to a place, where other  students will not see  or hear us. She looked around to see whether there is anyone around or coming towards our way. She stopped when she saw that the coast was clear.

"Oh. My. God." She shouted. "I cannot believe it"

" believe what?" I asked her.

"That Greyfield stood up for you, duh" she said rolling her eyes making me chuckle

" well, does it mean anything special? He just helped her, nothing more" Maya spoke

"Or maybe it is more than that"Alexia spoke smiling. 

"More than that? What do you mean?" Maya asked.

"I don't know, maybe love?"

"Love? How can you say that he love  her? He have only been here for a day and you are saying he love her?" Maya said. Can't they see me here? They completely  ignored me.

"Love at first sight"

"Why will you th…" Maya was interrupted by some noise coming from the hallway.

We quickly rush to the hallway, to see what was happening in the hallway. But there were a lot of students gathering a particular thing or maybe someone. We pushed pass some students and saw Greyfield punching someone who was lying on the floor. I could not see who he was punching until I recognized the shirt. IT'S FOR JOSEPH. Greyfield was punching Joseph? And nobody was doing anything about it.

Before I could do anything, some teachers came to send the students away including I and my friends and stopped Greyfield from causing any more harm to Joseph. They took Greyfield to  the principal's office and Joseph to the school clinic. I was worried  of what they will do to Greyfield. U did not know why he would do that. Was it because of what Alexia said? No, it cannot be. There is nothing as ' love at first sight'. Besides, he does not know me that well. The only relationship I have  with him, is that we are school mates and live in the same neighborhood and that is all.

i am so sorry I did not update quicker. I had a lot on my head. Most especially on school.

 I know this chapter is short.
