It's all a play?

CHAPTER FIVE

**TWO WEEKS LATER**

It has been two weeks since the incident at school. It is saturday. Greyfield was suspended and will be resuming school on Monday. I was glad for an unknown reason. I do not know the guy that well, but I feel like I do.

I got out of my bed and went to the bathroom to shower, shave and brush my teeth. When I was done, I went to my closet and chose a black floral dress which was knee length. I wore a necklace that my sister gave me on my birthday last year.

I went downstairs, when I was done with my light make-up. I saw my dad in the parlour watching the news with all seriousness. My dad can be strict at times, but he will always make sure that I and my sister is okay and satisfied. I love my dad.

I wanted to  talk to my dad and mom. My sister told them about Greyfield and they were furious for what reason I don't know. They told me to not talk to Greyfield and to stay away from him. Do they know him and did not tell me? 

I have a lot of questions to ask them and they better answer me today, because they have always been ignoring me anytime I want to talk to them about Grey. They would either change the topic or tell me that they have something more important to do.

"Dad?" I spoke, sitting next to him.

"Yes, sweetheart." He said, not removing his gaze from the T.V.

"Good morning." 

"Good morning. How was your night?"

"Fine and yours?"

" it was great, sweetheart "

"Uhm… dad? Can I ask you a question?" I asked getting ready to ask him about why he does do not want me to interact with Grey. I was scared.

"Yes?" He said finally taking his eyes off the T.V, giving his attention to me.

"Well… why don't you like talking about Greyfield, I mean anytime I talk or ask why you and mom  told me not to talk or try to avoid him , you guys just ignore me. Is there anything that he did that is wrong? Is it because of what he did to Joseph? Look, I am sure that he did not want to hurt him like that, besides it was Joseph who started it. He was the one who was bullying me, at first. Greyfield is not at fault, at some point. Why don't you want me to interact with him ? Why do you dislike him?" I stopped waiting for my dad to be reply but he did not say anything, but returned his gaze back to the T.V 

"Dad?" 

"Just stay away from him" that was all he said. I was shocked and confused. Why does he dislike him? Is there anything that he is not telling me? 

"Dad" I called him again but he did not even look at me. Was it really that bad? Is he really that bad? What did he do that my parents, including my sister dislike him?

GREYFEILD POV

it has been two weeks now. I could not stop thinking about the way Joseph bullied her. I wanted to break his bones.

I was in my room, when suddenly, the door of my room opened. I shifted my gaze to the opened door, to see my little sister running to me, with her sponge Bob teddy bear she always carry.

My sister, Beverly, is six years old. She has a brown long hair, reaching her waist and a big brown eyes which she got from our mother. I love my sister.

She hugged me and pulled away.

"Good morning" she said.

"Good morning. Did you sleep well?" I asked her.

"Yes, I did. Mom told me to call you downstairs for breakfast" she said

"Alright, yell her that I will be there in a minute."

"In a  minute?" She asked me.

"Positive" I answered her. She smiled and ran out of the room, closing the door.

I walked to my bathroom to brush my teeth and when I was done, I was about to walk out of my room, when the door flew open again to see my sister giving me an angry look, but still look cute.

"You told me that you would be down stairs in a minute and now, you are late"

"I am sorry, pardon me." I apologized to her "now let's go" I said taking her hand in mine.

We went down to the dinning room, only to be greeted by the smile on my mom's face. I greeted her and sat down to eat the waffles that was already set on a plate.

My mom knows about Leele. She actually like her and wish to talk to her again, but she can not, because Leela's parent would not allow her to. I do not blame her parents. Every parents would do the same to their child after the incident that  occurred, which almost took Leela's life. 

When I was done with my breakfast, I helped my mother in the kitchen. I asked her about dad and she told me that he is at work. My dad has been busy, lately. Ever since he got a new job as the director of a yoghurt factory, I have not been seeing him often.

I went up to my room, when I was done with helping my mom. I looked out my window and saw Leela walking out of her house with her sister. I watched her getting into her mom's car and driving off until my mom called me.

LEELA'S POV

I was frustrated by my dad's response and how he acted . I went to the kitchen to help my mom out. She told me to prepare the table, which I did. She served the meal into the plates that was already laying on the dinning table. I called my sister out for breakfast. 

We had our breakfast with random talks. My mom gave me a list of things to buy at the grocery store, when we were done with our breakfast. I wanted to talk to her that moment but she told me to go to the grocery store and buy everything that is written in the paper before talking to her. 

I sighed in defeat and went outside with my sister and drove to the grocery store with my mom's car.

I was in the grocery store looking for peanut butter along with my  sister, when I spotted Joseph and his friend. What are they doing here? Oh God.

He walked to where I was, when he saw me. I tried hiding but he saw me before I could find a place to hide

hey. I am sorry for not updating for a long time now. School work. 

well, here is chapter five I hope you liked it. Looks like something is about to happen between Joseph and Leela.
