He loves me, I hate him

Two days had past after the coronation of Brad as the new Alpha of the moon stone pack. I was seated in my room on my bed just surfing the Internet and watching a couple of comedy skits. I was bored that afternoon and hiding away from the prying eyes of Brad who doesn't seem to let my issue pass without impediment.

Since Brad became the Alpha just two days ago he has been so aggressive towards me and I think it's because of the death of our father as he still thinks I am the one who killed our father. Thanks to Elder Gonzalo who stood by my side and that's why I haven't faced the wrath of my blood sucking brother.

For the past few days I have been seeing my dad and sometimes my mom in my dreams and in the dreams they seemed so sad and I don't know what all that meant. I have thought about it a lot of times but I have found no logical explanation to It. Seeing my mom in my dream would mean that perhaps I missed her a lot as she was the only one whom really cared about me in the family and so maybe my head was playing tricks with me, but seeing my dad in my dreams and sometimes my mom was teary but they said nothing to me really baffled.

"Alexis come in" I said now relaxed back on my bed. I was sure it was Alexis at the door because she is the only one who strikes my door juts once. That was her secret code for me to know she is the one at the door in case sometime someone else who I didn't want to talk to knocks unusually and then I would decipher she isn't the one and I'd be mute.

" Hey Alina" she said as she entered the room. I quickly took my eyes off my phone and gaze at her for a while and smiled.

" What ups" I said and crossed my both legs, chilling aback in the bed. I was wearing a white and somehow revealing top with a blue jean, whereas Alexis came in with a brown gown.

" I am actually fine and hope you are as well?" She said in croaky voice

" Yeah I am as well" I said focusing my attention back on my phone.

" Wait, aren't you suppose to be somewhere by twelve PM today?" She said and I rolled my eyes taking my eyes off my phone In Confusion.

" Nahhh I don't have anywhere to go to, probably you just have it all up on your head" I said and sighed

" No I am sure, y'know I don't just say things. I am very sure you were suppose to go out today but I don't know where though"she said an shrugged.

"Hmm I don't know what you are talking about. But either ways let's forget about it because I really need rest to myself" I said.

"Aha, I just remembered",alexis said and clipped her fingers together quickly getting up from the bed. I was surprised and wondered what the reason might be to all this excitement.

" What do you remember?" I asked freeing my lefts.

" Weren't you supposed to have lunch today with Harry?" She said looking all perplexed.

" Oh that?" I said very uninterested.

" Yes that Alina, this is about five minutes past one PM" she wailed with hands open.

" Yes I know, I changed my mind on seeing him. I don't really feel good about him and so for my own safety I decided not to go anymore"I said and shrugged looking at Alexis.

" You changed your mind and you don't trust him??" She said.

" Yes I don't, he doesn't look so genuine and so I decided not to go, after all I am not compulsorily mandated to go" I said and placed my right leg on the other.

" Oh my goodness, can you even hear yourself? I don't even know what you are thinking." She said rubbing her hand on her eyes.

" What's wrong with you? I don't want to see him and so why are you getting all upset over it"

" I am not getting upset over it but rather I don't know why you have a wrong impression about Harry. He seems like a very nice guy to me and I don't know why you aren't seeing that part of him. Yeah he made a mistake the first day but all he did was to clear the bad air. Don't you think you have punished him enough", Alexis said slamming the back of her left hand in her right palm.i stood up sluggishly.

" What do you mean haven't I punished him enough, what punishment are you talking about?"I said and stared at her sternly.

" Alina, I know you very well and I know what you are doing. I don't think you should ruin the potential relationship you might have with Harry just because of you anger. I know for sure that you are doing all this because you want to pay him back in his own coin for the shenanigans he pulled off that day but please I would plead that you let it slide"she said. I stared at her and walked away now standing beside her.

" I really don't know what you are talking about. I decided not to go because I was feeling kind of uneasy and that's the only reason why" I said still standing beside her.

" Come on Alina, you can lie to anyone but not me. I know you and I know what you can do and why you would do it. You aren't feeling any form of uneasiness but you bluntly didn't want to go" she said and walked now standing in front of me and looking at me directly in the eyes.

"You know what, there is no need arguing with you because you are still going to believe what is in your head" I said an walked away. She was actually right though because I was feeling no uneasiness of any sort but just unanimously decided not to go.

" You are so unbelievable" she said after she walked again and stood in front of me one more time shaking her head. I said nothing but just stared at her as we wallowed in our seconds of silence. Then my phone began to ring on the bed where I had left it. I walked towards it swiftly. I picked it up and stared at it but dropped it back as it still rang.

" Who is it, why don't you want pick?"Alexis said and drew closer to where I stood.

" It's nobody" I said and slammed on the bed. Alexis stared at me sternly and picked up my phone.

"Who is delinquent?" She said surprised.

" It's a nobody"I said and looked aside. Alexis stared at me for a while and said nothing. The phone stopped ringing and then it began again and it was the same person.

" Ain't you going to pick your call at least??" She said.

" Just forget about it, it's not someone important" I said and winced.

" Hello" Alexis said and when I turned, I saw she had picked up the call.

" Jesus f*****g Christ!!" I said and abruptly stood up from the bed and collected the phone.

" Hey Annette" said the voice. I am sure now you know who it was I saved his name as delinquent. The phone was on loudspeaker and so Alexis as well heard what was said. She stared at me and then at the phone with mouth wide open.

" Hey umm Harry" I said and with a scowl.

" Ummmm are you still coming or..?" He said. Alexis eyes became more wider in perplexity.

"Oh about that, I don't think I can make it" I said so clearly uninterested.

" Okay... So umm what's wrong?" He said counting his words .

" Never said anything was wrong. You know what, can we do this some other time because I am busy at the moment." I said. That was very unlike me but now I don't now why I was spontaneously reacting this way to him.

" Okay then...." he said and was about saying something else when I hanged up.

" Phew" I said with a deep sigh slamming back on the bed.

" Holy biscuits!! What's wrong with you Alina?? This is totally unlike you. How could you not inform him that you weren't coming but allowed him wait for you for more than an hour." Alexis roared.

"I didn't do it intentionally, I actually forgot to"I said and stroked my hair.

" Can you hear yourself?? You forgot to inform someone that you weren't gonna be able to come for lunch?? This is totally outrageous" she said shaking her head vigorously.

" And what is this noise all about??" I heard a voice from the door as the door opened slowly....
