Chapter 22 Jacksonville, FL A FEW DAYS AFTER school began, Ted came into the den where Chris was hard at work on his book. Chris looked up when he sensed Ted standing beside him. “What’s up, Ted?” “Don’t you have a DVD recorder hooked up to the TV in the library?” “We sure do. Why?” “Could you set it to record Paula Deen’s show? Now that school’s started, I’m not home when she’s on at noon.” “We can do that. What about her evening program?” “Can we record that too?” “You bet we can.
