The Alpha's Rejected Luna

She rubbed her sweaty hands on the side of her gown, nervousness, and a fearful spirit radiating all around her as she waited for the doctor to arrive. She had been feeling nauseous, tired, and had no appetite.....it sickens her to the core that she was forced to come to the hospital for a check-up. "The test results are out and ---" There was a pause from the doctor, he readjusted his glasses while her fear tripled, were the test results that bad? " --- You are pregnant, Luna." Did it look like her whole world crumbled upon hearing the news the doctor just gave or did her ears not hear it well? The doctor was surprised, wasn't Luna supposed to be happy? "It's good news, Luna, you are pregnant." He didn't complete his sentence, she was already out of the door after dropping the paper in her bag. Pregnant? I am pregnant? Those were her thoughts as she proceeded back home. Some people looked at her like she was some garbage that was to be thrown into a trash - truck, some looked at her and shook their heads, and children mocked her - that has always been the case whenever she stepped out of the Royal palace into the center of the pack. She was the Luna of the Red Crescent pack but she was never regarded as one who was to be given due respect, maybe because her husband never treated her as one too. She grew up in this same pack, she lost her remaining pride when she was forcefully married to Kyler Loann. After five years of marriage, it doesn't look like they were married at all because Kyler only forces her to bed and warns her never to get pregnant - that was the number one rule he gave to her the night she entered the palace. What will she do now? Her face was hampered with tears, her lips were dry and her body looked like she had eaten a good meal in months - she wasn't happy, there was no joy in her and she hardly slept in the night because of the fear that he might kill her one day. Sapphire entered the palace, and some of the maids greeted her while some didn't - she didn't care because they weren't her business at all. Now, she was caught up with how she was going to break it down to her husband that she was pregnant - his first rule has been broken, how does she explain? Her hands were in the air, waving against one another in several attempts to knock on the door of his room. She had only entered his chamber once and that was when she learned he was sick, she cared for him and wanted to give him some medicines which were her best area of study but that night, she was r***d by her husband. Tears threatened to spill out from her eyes t the sudden memory, and so many other memories that haunted her even in the daytime. "Come in!" Fear gripped her again when she heard his deep voice and she breathed out, it was now or never but her heart shattered to pieces when she saw her best friend giving him a blow job. Her heart clenched in pain seeing how he groaned, enjoying the way her best friend's lips ran around his d**k. They were even on his bed, the bed he never allowed her to sit on at all - was she that bad? She has never touched any part of his body, he never allowed it and here Arielle was touching vital parts of his body. Sapphire couldn't say any other word, they were stuck up in her throat. Is this the same man she wanted to inform about her pregnancy? She wouldn't deny she had a little hope in her of him accepting her and showing love to her after knowing she is pregnant but deep in her dreams, it will never happen. "What -- do you want?" He groaned, not opening his eyes to glance at her for a second. Even her best friend, Arielle, was so focused on giving him the blow job satisfactorily. "I -- will just -- come back later." Sapphire hiccuped as she tried to form those words from her mouth before running out of the room. Sapphire slammed the door of her room close, flinging herself to the bed and running her teary eyes around the room. She wasn't even given the original big and expensive meant for a Luna because she wasn't one to Kyler, and neither was she to the pack. "He would never accept the pregnancy!" Her wolf said angrily in her head. There were a lot of differences between Sapphire and Salsa, her wolf. Sapphire is a very quiet young woman, secretive and not stubborn but Salsa was quite the opposite - noisy, alarming, stubborn, and dangerous. Salsa's power can't be compared to Kyler's wolf powers but she still tries her best to stop him whenever he wants to have his way with her forcefully. "This should be the result of the last time he forcefully had his way with you and used his Alpha tone on me." Salsa gnarled and Sapphire closed her eyes painfully, the memory was still very fresh in her head. "We should sleep, Salsa," Sapphire said in a low voice, closing her eyes even though she wasn't sleeping - it just hurts. A knock on her door, and she felt reluctant to open it. "You are summoned by Alpha Kyler." The head of the maid informed, eyeing Sapphire on the bed dangerously and Sapphire nodded, sitting up. She wiped her face with a handkerchief, tied her hair to a bun, and headed out of her room - she mustn't be late or she was going to get it from him. Sapphire wondered what happened, seeing different Alphas from different neighboring packs in the meeting room. Kyler has never called her to attend any of their meetings before, what was the problem now? Her chest clenched with what she wasn't sure of when she saw Arielle clinging so close to Kyler - Jealousy or hatred? "You are being summoned here because a certain matter concerns you greatly." Alpha Mane, one of the Alpha's started and the others nodded. Sapphire didn't say a word, she counted them and there were three other Alphas aside from Kyler - what matter could concern her so greatly? "I smell a conspiracy, I don't think this will end well Sapphire," Salsa whined in her head. Sapphire paid no heed to her, she wanted to listen to what could concern her so greatly to be summoned into the meeting room amid four Alphas. "You have been the Luna of this pack for five years...." She wasn't liking where the conversation would be leading, she shifted on her feet uncomfortably. She wasn't even asked to sit down at all, her feet were growing numb - was it one of the symptoms of the pregnancy too? She glanced at Kyler who wasn't even bothered by her presence, he just continued looking at Arielle like she was the most beautiful thing he would ever see in his entire life - when did Arielle even start attending Alpha's meeting? "You have two options - you surrender your Luna title and still reside in the palace or you surrender your Luna title and leave the pack." The second Alpha, Alpha Guac Said. "Either one you choose, you are still to surrender your Luna title." Alpha Mane chipped in. Sapphire looked at them speechlessly, they wanted her to surrender Luna's title. Do they even know the meaning of what they just said? What implications it might cause? The consequences? What was she going to go through at the hands of the pack? She hasn't surrendered yet and she was already going through hell, what if she now surrenders? She was going to die of shame. She was silent for some minutes and they thought she didn't understand them. "We are not sending you out of the pack Sapphire...." Alpha Mane tried to explain well and her mouth fell open. They were already addressing her by her name? It seems they meant business by allowing her to surrender Luna's title. This means they had earlier discussed it, they weren't seeking her permission instead, they were commanding her to even though they didn't want it to look like it but that was what it was. "The Luna's title is what we need and you will be free to do whatever thing you want, in or outside the palace." Alpha Guac said. Sapphire chuckled, and she chuckled again not still believing them. She didn't know it would get to this extent, she thought she would be able to push through till Kyler would love her but it seemed she was wrong, or was it because they wanted Arielle to be their Luna now? "That won't be necessary anymore because I am rejecting her as my Luna right now." Alpha Kyler suddenly said.
