“Oh! My goodness! Look at your hands…” Cathy almost jumped in fright when she noticed Sussan’s hands condition. “These must have hurt you a lot,” Brenda said and tears overflowed her eyes. “Hurry! Bring a first aid kit. We need to treat her soon before she loses any more blood,” Cathy ordered and pushed Brenda away. Brenda did not talk back to her mother as usual. Instead, she leaped up from the ground and ran towards the tent to get the first aid kit. “I am fine but I think he took my infinite pouch along with him which has the medicines,” Sussan said in a low voice and leaned against the rock with a tired look. It was a great shock for her to go through so much in such a short time. A day changed her life and her view on life. First, it was the Ashes Lord and her hidden memory came back to her all at once. Now, David was not David anymore and he was someone else all along. The guilt she was feeling towards David about the kids disappeared from her mind. ‘At least one less burden to worry about,’ She thought and her eyes slowly closed. “Sussan, no, don’t lose your consciousness now. Come on, stay awake,” Cathy patted her cheeks and tried to keep Sussan awake. “I am awake,” Sussan said but then once again she understood that she was almost losing her consciousness. Even though she did not want to, she couldn’t help the buzzing feeling inside her head. She blinked her eyes and tried to stay awake. At that time, a portal opened near them and Peter along with Robert jumped out of it. Everyone looked at them in awe and ran away in fear inside their tent once again. They had all been afraid after seeing David turn into an old man.  So they did not want to take a chance and neither did they want their family to get hurt. Cathy was the first one to react and ran towards Robert to hug him. “Robby, my dear grandson! You are back! How could you leave such an old lady alone with your mother and disappear at night? You know how horrible your mom is...” Cathy started in a high pitch and then it turned into a whisper at the end of the sentence. Before Cathy could complain anymore, Brenda shouted, “Mom… Take a look at Sussan. She fainted.” “Peter, Robert go to Grandma Cathy’s Dome and stay there. We will treat Sussan and bring her there in a few minutes,” Brenda ordered and tried to send the kids away. Peter did not listen to her and went near his mother and kneeled before her on the ground. He then put his hands on top of her palm and rubbed it. The wounds immediately disappeared and there was no more blood or scar on her palm. He then held his mother’s hands and said, “It’s going to be ok, Mom! Let us go find, Dad. We will find him together. Do not worry, I am here for you and would never let anyone harm you.” Brenda looked at Sussan’s hands with wide-eye and then she nudged Robert for some explanation. Robert rubbed his belly and whispered, “He has been doing this cool stuff after he woke up from a coma. I heard that he is now blessed with the Ashes Lord’s power and you should have seen him when he saved all the militants in the camp. He is not the normal Peter any longer but a super powerful sage.” “Coma?” Brenda asked Peter with a startled expression. “It’s a long story… After we finished taking care of the tiny man, we traveled to the main city to find Elly. And when we found Elly we got locked by the evil witch Bairania. Then dad came to our rescue but before that Nina and Peter got poisoned. Nina sacrificed her life and saved Peter by freezing his body. But then when he woke up, he was like this now…” Robert said in one go without taking a breath. “Ok, but where is Elly?” Brenda asked Robert. But before Robert could reply to her, Cathy came near them and said,  “Alright! Alright! Let’s go and pack our stuff and leave before that old guy comes back again to kill Sussan,” Cathy hurried everyone towards the dome. Brenda looked at Sussan and Peter and decided to give them some space to talk to each other. “Let’s go, Robert.” She said and then turned towards Sussan and said to her, “We will go pack our bags. You both take your time and I will let you know when we are ready to leave.” Sussan mouthed a ‘thank you', and waited until the trio was away from the hearing distance. She then lifted her hand and caressed Peter’s head. With tear-filled eyes, she asked him, “I am happy you are safely back. Do you know how worried I was when I realized that you were not inside the tent that day?”  “I am sorry, Mom. I should have informed you and not make you worry about me. But at that moment, I thought saving Elly was the priority and I was sure that you would not let me go as I was a kid,” Peter said. “Peter, you are still a kid,” Sussan said and hugged him.  She then whispered into his ears, “I have the book of the Ashes Lord.” “I know, mom. But let us not talk about it for now. We need to get away from here as soon as possible and meet Aunt Linda on the other side of the border,” Peter informed her. Sussan suddenly turned around and gasped. ‘What would I tell Linda? Does she also know about David and intentionally hid it from us?’ She thought and she clenched her hands. “Mom, Relax! Aunt Linda is not a bad person, unlike David. Peter assured her. Then he told her, “Also, I have something to say to the clan.”  They both went to the place where Brenda gathered everyone. Sussan glanced at her clan once who were now standing around them by then. While trying to hide her inner emotions and her sadness she looked around at the clan members with caring eyes.  “Now it is our time to fight back and not to run away from our fears. We are brave and we have magic in our hands. We know those witches can disguise themselves and could easily mingle among us. So if we are cautious and act with the cunningness which our ancestors taught us, then we will be the winner in this war, and no one could stand against us.” Peter gave a long speech to them. To Sussan’s surprise, all the people listened to him keenly and the fear in their eyes disappeared. Meanwhile, Peter continued his speech and he said, “I want you all to go back to the border, while I and my mother will go rescue the people who the Old witch had imprisoned.”  Then he pulled Cathy near him and said, “Cathy will lead this group but do not try to cross the border until you see my signal across the border.” He then went near Robert and said, “Robert, I need you to open the portal to the witch’s place.” “Ok,” Robert nodded his head and rotated his hands in the air.  “Oh! Wait! Wait! What are you two thinking? Peter, you have just come back and you want to go back to a dangerous place again?” Brenda asked him and stopped her son from creating a portal. “Also, where is Elly? Didn’t you say, Robert that you both found Elly?” She asked Robert. “Aunt Brenda, do not worry about this matter. I will go with my mom and bring Elly back. She is right now at Bairania’s place. We will come back soon and I will let my mother explain the details later.” Peter said and waved his hands to let Robert create a portal for him and his mom to travel. Sussan looked at Peter with uncertain eyes as his aura had changed completely. Compared to how he was before he left, now he came back with a maturity that could not be found so easily at this age. “Mom, Let’s go,” Peter said to Sussan.
