"Look who is here. The copy cat!" the blonde shouted. She wanted to gather as much as attention she could gather.
In the hall, all the students stopped to see the next drama show. It was a routine for them by now. After all there weren't a day that the blonde didn't try to humiliate the poor girl.
"And that for what?" Maela questioned. Yet, her voice didn't show any wonder. Instead, it filled with mockery and tiredness.
Couldn't they have a rest for a day?
"OH, don't Iet me start!" The blonde scoffed. As she waved her hand in the air.
Maela flinched on her heigh voice. Times like those, you regret your heightened senses.
"There's not any Occasion that I wasn't copied !" The blonde's voice became higher if that was even possible. The she rested put her arms on her hips. "And every one knows that!" The blonde's lips curved into a smirk.
Her minions started to giggle. They surround their queen bee.
People around them began to gossip.
Some tried to defend the poor girl. But most of them sided with the blonde.
After all, she never hurt or bullied anyone besides the poor girl. So, isn't it more convenient for them that the other girl did actually copy her.
After all the blonde is wealthy, a lot. While the other girl didn't show any signs of being in a wealthy family.
Instead, they thought that the best she could do being from an average family with an average money.
Some people sniggered at that thoughts.
They talked low and they were away enough to not be heard clearly.
But that didn't stop the girls.
Maela's jaw tightened. On the other hand, the blonde's lips lifted up.
She won. Or at least that was what she thought.
"that's still didn't answer my question!" Maela said annoyed. She gritted her teeth.
"Oh, don't act like that!" The blonde yelled. She straightened herself. "You know it's the truth. Everyone knows," While the blonde was rambling. She was interrupted by an angry Maela.
"Stop the f***! If you dared to say one more word!" maela snapped.
"Everyone wasn't there !" Maela yelled. Her eyes are narrowed now. "no one was there. So stop saying that everyone knows !" Maela screamed. Her lips drew back in a snarl.
"It was only once! Once!" her voice echoed in the hall.
Everyone still. Maela tone made them do that. After all even if they were just ordinary humans. Maela didn't come from just an ordinary Alpha bloodline. Her heritage allowed her to do more.
So she doesn't need to use an Alpha command on them. Besides, it won't work anyway. BUT, her bloodline makes her able to force herself on them. No one can ignore her.
"It can happen. That two wear the same thing. I understand that. Of course I am not i***t to just accuse her for that only." The blondy didn't seem affected by Maela. Her voice came steady yet thin.
Maela's eyes went round.
She may not used her Alpha tone. Still, the blonde had to react to her. Even if it was just a little flinch. Yet, nothing had happened at all.
"And the accessories too?" The blonde added. A hint of mockery laced in her voice.
"No way that could happen!" Her eyes lit up. Not in a happy way.
Maela could sense Therefore, her brows draw together.
"Unless," The bonde paused for a moment. Her eyes moved to look at the figure stands beside Maela.
"Unless, she copied me!" she yelled pointing at the figure.
The people that were close to her, had to use their hands to block their ears. It was high. To high for their humans ears.
The figure beside Maela flinched. She didn't like to be the centre of the stares. Especially, in that situation.
Maela step in to cover the figure. Maela's eyes are narrowed. Every cell in her body screaming at her to protect the figure.
"And why she would do that?" Maela defend. She raised her brow. Her tone held sarcasm.
"I don't know!" The blonde shrugged. Her voice matched Maela. Yet, her eyes were burning with different emotions.
"You are accusation her without prove or a reason! That's bullshit!"Maela screamed.
"There is a prove the beau-" The blonde began. Though, she couldn't finish her sentence.
"There is no prove!" Maela Cut her. "The salon said it was a mistake! They used the same preparation for you both!" Marla hissed. Her teeth are showing. unconscious, they started to transform into canines.
She hated it. She hated it a lot. No one can bully her bestie. Especially, if it was her.
Maela's eyes darkened. She will not let her hurt her, ever.
No one will harm what's hers.
Maela's eyes wided. Both the Human side and wolf agreed on protect her. It was odd to Maela. Not because the human side made a friendship with someone meant that the wolf side had to be friends with them too.
It was rare to pack members to form friendships with outsiders.
Yet, here her wolf is fighting her for control. She wanted to get out and rip the blonde's neck.
Maela's mouth curved onto a smile.
Maela then stopped for a moment to think. She want to end this show quickly.
"And to be honest it suits her better!" Maela mentioned in a calm voice. "Which make me wonder, who was supposed to have it in the first place and who got it be mistake." Maela grinned at the blonde.
Before the blonde could respond. Maela turned to the crowd.
"Come on. If you had to choose one, who could be? One of them had the dress first and the other had one similar by mistake." Maela started to explain. Just like her appearance, her voice became elegant.
"If we looked at them, we could see the answer." Maela pointed to her friend and then to the blonde.
"One has an ice blue eyes, a light blonde hair and a fair skin. Do you think that person could go for a dress that make them look paler?" Maela faked thinking as she held her chin as well as tilting her head a little.
Every one in the hall starts to giggle. It was true. When the blonde showed up, the dress color didn't suit her well. On the other hand, it suited the other girl.
"I didn't ask for that same color! they brought the wrong one!" The blonde's voice wavered a bit as she rested her hands on her hips.
"That's what I am saying! They made a mistake!" Maela bellowed.
"Why are you defending her? You supposed to be on my side, Maela!" The blonde sniffed. It seemed like she wanted to cry.
"And why I would do that?" Maela raised her brow. "She is my bestie. While you are just a stranger to me." Maela stopped for a moment before she add, "There is nothing makes me side with you, Kaltain."
Kaltain opened her mouth, she wanted yo correct her. But she didn't. What she supposed to say?
If she tried, it will only makes her at fault. Feeling embarrassed. Kaltain exited the hall, followed by her minions.
Both maela and the figure beside her laughed.
"I really don't know why she is always like that?" the figure wondered. Her voice small. Her pupils flared. Her eyes still on the direction that Kaltain walked through.
"Since we met. She never let a chance to humiliate me until she used it. She even started to make her owns." Her voice showing how much her confusion and sadness.
"But I have never hurt her in any way! why she would do that to me?" Her eyes were glossy.
"Don't care about that!" maela wanted to end that topic. "She is an attention seeker!" Maela chuckled nervously. It hurted her to lie to her. But she can't tell her the real reason as well.
"I just don't want to bother you." The figure said sadly. She no longer looking away as she faced her friend.
Maela looked at her with wided eyes. Then she grabbed both her hands together, using them to hold her friend's face and spoke. "If there is any one to apology, then it's me!" Her eyes softed ."It is my responsibility to take care of it. To take care of you." She looked at her with gleaming eyes.
"Don't worry, Elena. I will protect you! Always." Maela said in a soft and calm voice.
Elena never understood the hating that kaltain had to her. And never understand why Maela deals with it like it was her fault.
She tried several times to interrupt. But Maela stopped her, Always. After a while she stopped and became sitting aside in a fight about her.
But she was grateful to have such an amazing friend.
"Alright." Elena smiled. Then she looked at her watch.
"Oh, no! we will be late!" she panicked while pushing Maela to the lecture room.
Maela laughed. "That my friend that doesn't miss a lecture."
"Someone needs to step in to take that rule. Or we will never attend any classes!" Elena screamed sarcastically at her friend.
As the girls walked, everyone looked at them.
Some had admiration in their eyes. Some had envy.
Maela's pupils wided as she remembered something important.
"So what Eliza and Tala decided?" Maela looked at Elena with excited eyes.
