With the rain pouring down hard around them, Julius and the girls had to huddle under the rock closely just to keep themselves from getting too wet from the splattering rain.
The rain also kicked up some of the sand and caused a slight dust cloud around them. Thankfully, Sasha was able to use her magic to blow the cloud away but once the sand got really wet, this problem no longer persisted.
The real problem came once night fell and everyone returned to their allocated sleeping quarters.
With the rain washing away their scent, Julius told the girls that they didn’t have to worry about the night while they were in the middle of the rainstorm so no one needed to be on night watch. It was better if everyone rested because tomorrow would be another long day for them.
