Amy Welkshire was the first and only daughter of the Harrdigor Continent’s largest merchant association, the Skyfire Association, which was also at the head of the continent’s largest merchant consortium, the Continental.
The Continental had influence spread throughout the entire continent and the merchant associations that were at the helm of the consortium had their hands dipped in just about every nations’ economy that was on Harrdigor, save for the secluded Elven Capital located at the base of the World Tree.
Since the Continental commanded such economic importance for every nation, the association members that were part of this consortium held high statuses and influence akin to a nobleman of said nations.
