Florence saw what was happening in the sky.
A beam of light had appeared out of nowhere, connecting the formation to the ground and this beam of light was hastening the activation of the demonic formation.
“Damn, so what we did was in vain,” Florence stopped dead in his tracks and quickly halted the troops behind him. “Vulcan Warriors! Defensive Formations!”
Everyone in the army had stopped momentarily when the beam of light suddenly emerged from the ground so their attentions were quickly brought to Florence when they heard his bellow.
On reflex, the soldiers took their formations as the mages in the back began casting a barrier over everyone close by.
