Julius felt a tad bit delighted to see so many corpses pile up. They were resources that his fiends needed but unfortunately, there was no way for him to retrieve them. It was such a pity that he let out a sigh of disappointment.
“Next time, I’ll make sure to have Eisha lead a few more fiends so I can order them to secretly collect those wasted resources…”
He continued observing the battle and as expected, once they were on land and on even ground, the humans were able to slowly push back all of the demons’ attacks though many of them fell at the hands of the traps and delayed magic spells the demons had planted throughout the island’s forest.
