After the War

Julius and his fiends had once again just experienced another major win over their enemies and were now recuperating and tallying from their losses. A few days had passed since their victory over the Light Alliance’s joint human army and even now, they were still collecting the bodies of the fiends that were lost in the battle. The numbers reached over a million and with the larger-bodied fiends that were lost in the war hampering their progress, it took Julius’s homunculi workers a while until they could finish. The bodies of the humans were also not going to be put to waste. All of these bodies could be recycled and converted into resources for his fiends and he wasn’t going to give up on such an opportunity. Julius made sure to collect the champion-leveled human bodies and set them aside for later use after storing them inside flesh pods. He’d reward the strongest of his fiends that weren’t hero units these bodies. Absorbing these bodies’ abilities and qualities would boost any fiend’s evolutionary track and power levels by a few stages at the least. During the humans’ retreat, Julius didn’t forget to plant a few mimics within their ranks so that he could find an opportunity to infiltrate the Light Alliance. They viewed him as an enemy so he needed to plant a few of his people inside to keep track of their movements and plans. In fact, he had the perfect spy planted within their ranks already and that was the person who had just given the Light Alliance’s people the scryer sphere that held footage of her battle with her husband against the fiends, particularly, the one with Sammael. When Lilias and her husband were ambushed by Julius’s fiends from underground, they hadn’t lost consciousness immediately like what Lilias had reported but instead had put up a fight before they eventually exhausted themselves and with no way out, were finally defeated and captured. That’s right, the two practitioners were captured, not killed. After they were knocked unconscious, Julius immediately had his fiends bring them to the Main Sanctum’s research floor and the system started experimenting with their bodies. Julius couldn’t turn them into fiends and since they were too powerful to be devoured, the system suggested they mess with their brains a little bit by implanting carrier fiends inside of their bodies. These carrier fiends were a new branch of fiends that could be used to take over a creature’s cognitive functions without them being aware of it. Since they were implanted within a host creature’s brain or heart, it was completely hidden from any sort of detection spell. The only way someone would find it is if they could physically see into someone’s body or if they dissected the host body. As far as Julius knew, no race on the planet had the ability or technology to physically see through a person’s body. A person’s perception or any detection spell wouldn’t be able to detect the anomaly since the carrier fiend would be treated as a part of the host’s body as the host’s unique aura would have blended with the fiend. Thus, any detection spell or any person’s perception ability would be useless since they wouldn’t be able to detect the difference between the host and carrier fiend’s aura that has already blended together. Lilias had a gloomy expression on her face and she seemed more robotic than normal, however, people within her circle of connections attributed it to the loss of her husband who was also her cultivation partner. It wasn’t unusual to see a member of a cultivation pair go into depression if one side lost the other due to an unfortunate death or something like that. Normally, when a cultivation pair is formed, they’d be partners for life and usually, they’d live and die together. A case like Lilias is rather rare but the memories implanted into her head by the carrier fiend under Julius’s instructions of her husband’s dying wish to get the scryer sphere into the hands of the Light Alliance and for her to continue living was the sole motivation in her remaining alive. Now that her mission was complete, Lilias returned to her home within her sect. For now, Julius was placing her as a sleeper agent and would use her when he needed her for something. For now, his main objective of getting the scryer sphere over to the Light Alliance was complete. Julius wanted the Light Alliance to have the sphere since it doubled as a long-ranged remote recording device. Julius had planted a bug within the Light Alliance and they were all none the wiser. So, regarding the Mage President’s findings of the Fiend Plasm, Julius was well aware of it. If they wanted to research more about Fiend Energy and the Fiend Plasm, they’d need to somehow get some from his territory but with the Redgrove Region now known to be under his control acting as a buffer zone, those people from the Magic Kingdom wouldn’t be able to get any more research samples once they exhausted the small vial they currently had. He also wasn’t willing to let the humans get any more samples since it would be helping them learn more about his people. Just showing them the prowess of his fiends was enough already.  He split apart a new consciousness that would be constantly be monitoring the humans’ activities that were also in charge of processing any information, big or small, regarding the Light Alliance. Julius didn’t need to be wary of the entire human race, just the Church of Holy Light and the Light Alliance.  Through the scryer orb, Julius was able to see that the seat of the Ephalerith Empire’s representative was actually his half-brother, Caine, the usurper that stole away his rightful place. He didn’t think much about it and even when Julius saw his brother again, it didn’t invoke feelings of hatred or vengeance within him. He was just indifferent. His fiend network had spread until the northern side of the continent so he was able to find out that his brother was toiling with politics and appeasing the masses, the nobles, and the foreign powers that were still skeptical of his rise to the throne while also fending off the Church of Holy Light that was trying to gain more power within his Empire. His brother was having a hard time right now while he was experiencing success after success thanks to the system and his personal power over his loyal fiends that were always of one mind with him. Julius laughed inwardly at his half-brother’s problems since he was having it easy. Right now, he was even spending a hot and passionate session with his wife, Eisha.  “Ahhn~ Julius~ honey~ you’re so rough tonight!” “Do you like it, Eisha?” “Yes! Give it to me harder! Also, please make love to me in your newest form!” Julius was pumping his waist against his wife and penetrating her tight p***y. He really wanted to go wild and f**k her with his [Dark Metamorphosis] but that had to wait. Right now, he just wanted to satisfy her instead of himself. “We’ll save that for next time, my love. I’m afraid that I’ll hurt you so how about we raise your level and compatibility with Dark Fiend Energy a little bit more before I make love to you in that form, yes?” “O-Oh Okay! AHN! R-Right there, right there honey~” Julius began pumping his c**k even harder inside his wife when he heard her reaction and saw the enjoyment plus pleasure on her face. Whenever they had s*x, his wife was always entranced with his movements and actions. This turned him on so much that they could go at it for hours before finally feeling satisfied with each other. “Honey, when you raise your level until you can cope with my [Dark Metamorphosis] form, we can f**k, and at that time, I’ll make sure to pour in my life essence into you and get you pregnant. You always wanted to have a child born from our love, right?” “!!!” When Julius finished whispering that into her ears, Eisha arched her back and intensely began to climax as she reached the peak of pleasure. She had always wanted to bear a proper child for her husband, not just another child born from her [Spawn] skill. She had already given birth to many fiends with the help of her husband and Proto but those didn’t count as her true children. They were indeed still her children and Eisha viewed them as such, but her affection towards them wasn’t motherly. It was a more...objective kind of love. It wasn’t the pure love that a mother would have for their children, and hearing that her husband was finally prepared to give her a proper child, she was ecstatic and came just from hearing that. That would happen somewhat later in the future, for now, Julius needed to continue impregnating his wife to restore the large number of fiends that they had lost in the previous war.  For the past few days since the war had concluded with their victory, Eisha had been staying in the Main Sanctum Fiend’s Cradle being constantly impregnated by Julius and Proto and spawning more fiends for their army. Eisha and Aria’s [Spawn] skill bypassed the Hatchery Population count so Julius was able to create more fiends than the cap he had due to the Population Limit. There weren’t any adverse effects for him going over the population limit due to the lack of hatcheries he had since the number of resources he had available was able to sustain his fiends’ upkeep. Eisha and Aria were able to spawn around 10 fiends at once with their [Spawn] skill. So in a single session of s*x, the two were able to spawn 20 at a time. It would take a long time before they could completely replenish their numbers, but most of the work was up to Aria to complete. Eisha would and could only be impregnated by her husband and since Julius was usually busy, they couldn’t have a very long session. However, thanks to her being the Matriarch, the spawnlings wouldn’t take too long incubating inside of her before being born. Then there was her [Soma Wellspring] that allowed Julius to continuously c*m large loads inside of her as they were making love so even if they only had a short session, the surplus life essence would be enough for her to spawn a few fiendlings even after they were finished. As for Aria, well, the fiend that was impregnating her with their seed, Julius had decided to let Sammael have a go at it since he wanted to see the fiends that would result in their union. Two hero units creating fiends, the result was probably going to be a large batch of fiends that were much more powerful than their predecessors. The hatcheries and spawners were also working around the clock to produce more fiends and Julius was expanding every sanctum’s hatchery space so that he could create more hatcheries and increase his population limit. Of course, it wasn’t only the hatcheries that affected the population limit. Julius’s mind needed to be constantly enhanced and upgraded to accommodate for the more fiends he created.  If he couldn’t effectively control his fiends, then it wouldn’t matter if there were more fiends. “My love, are you satisfied?” “Yes~” Eisha said as she rubbed her belly which was slowly starting to swell as her [Spawn] skill began to activate. “Although I’d want more, Honey’s busy so we should stop here and continue another time?” “Okay, my Love. Work hard, alright?” “Hehe, work hard? I’m just lying here pushing out fiendlings! Honey is the one that has to work hard for all of us!” Julius smiled and kissed his wife on the forehead before getting up from the Fiend’s Cradle. “I’ll be in the Meditation Chamber. If you need anything, you’ll know where to find me.” “Okay~” “I’ll be experimenting later so only wake me up if it’s urgent.” Julius left behind those words to his wife and went to his Meditation Chamber. Today, he was going to check something out. An experiment of his had just come into fruition and he was going to test something out.
