In the middle of the night, Julius was awoken by the sounds of people screaming and metal clashing. He wasn’t particularly alarmed and just calmly got up from bed before putting on his clothes and armor.
When he walked out of the room, he noticed that the doors to the inn’s rooms were all ajar and he saw the traces of panicked scrambling of the guests as they rushed out of their rooms.
He looked at his system map and turned it into its 3D layout and saw that there were a few red dots in the sky above the town and more red dots just outside of the walls surrounding the town.
“Monster attack?”
Unfortunately for Julius, he still hadn’t unlocked the map functions that made it more detailed and accurate. The new 3D layout was something he gained after leveling up and he was able to share it
