SAVEDJamie lifted her shoulders up and down to get the kinks out of them as she shuffled on the bed, attempting to get comfortable. Her whole body ached and the chains cut into her wrists, cutting off her blood supply. Her throat was dry, and her eyes drooped from fatigue.
Her mind turned to Angelo and their impulsive kiss. She thought about the way he had held her tight and made her feel safe. The way his tongue had tantalised her own. Even the sensation of his lips on her own sent a wave of arousal through her. She didn’t want to admit it, but this feeling of yearning and loss might have meant she was falling in love with him. Why had she told him it was a mistake when he tried to kiss her again?
