AN ESCAPADEAiden’s eyes dilated at seeing Jamie tied up. “Dear, God Jamie. What the hell has my father done to you?” He sank into the bed and wrapped his arms around her.
“Are the police coming?” Jamie asked.
“No, I wanted to see if he would bring you here first. I didn’t believe my dad would do such a thing. I had trouble tracking this place down as I’d only been here a couple of times as a teenager.” He was searching around the room. “Where’s the key to the handcuffs?”
“It’s on the bedside table.”
Aiden sighed. “We need to get you out of here then we’ll contact the police. I am so sorry for getting you into this. So sorry.” After he uncuffed her other wrist, Jamie stopped breathing.
“Aiden, watch out!”
Gregory lunged towards his son and pushed him into the bedside table
