The Magic of A Rendezvous

Chapter 7

Present Day

"Meet our biggest investor for our school, Heart Fillia, Lucas Jiang!" The show's holder announced Lucas's name and soon, the tall handsome guy came on to the scene.

"Dad! Look! Everybody's talking about him in my school." Caelan was watching television with Chris who was reading a newspaper

"Hmm." Lazily, Chris responded his son. He only took a single glance on TV then, switched to the newspaper again.

"He's always kind to us. Do you remember last year's trip to Aquarium for free? It's all because of him, Dad." Caelan told him about Lucas, the biggest investor for his school.

"Ah, yeah. A very rich guy, huh? I can take you to Aquarium around the world every day, Kev." Chris told him without looking at his son.

"No, Dad! It's for ALL OF THE STUDENTS in my school. Someday, I wanna be just like him, I'll be a very good man someday." Caelan promised to himself and Chris only laughed and giggled.

"It's actually because of my fiancée. She is the one who has the idea to build this school for any children here. She wants every child to have a better education, so, this school is basically for everybody without seeing your level, rich or not, this or that. It's just for everybody." Lucas told the host.

"So, can you tell us about your fiancée?"

"She.. I can't say anything because she wants to stay as anonymous but all I can say is that she is an angel. She will show up if she wants to, she's the founder but she stays anonymous." Lucas explained.

"An angel? She must be very pretty."

"Of course, I mean recently she provides all the students new computers for them in the house so, that everyone can't miss any subject. She's very concerned about education and children." Lucas proudly told everyone about his fiancee.

"Will she show up someday in the school? Every student must've wanted to see her."

"A week later, she will show up. So, for all the students, please, welcome her very warmly. Oh and one more thing, she wants the best student who welcomes her. So, kids, if you are the best student of this week, you can talk to her in person." Lucas smiled to the camera and gave encouragement to the students to be the best.

"Thank you, Mr. Jiang. Glad to have you here."

"See that? It's not him. It's his fiancée." Chris snapped his son.

"Whoa... Dad, does angel really exist?" Caelan was fascinated about Lucas's story. "I wanna meet her."

"A week later, you can see her. That's why you need to study hard, only the best student selected." Chris gave his spirit to do his best.

"I wish mom was here to see me as the best student. She must be proud of me." Caelan pouted.

Chris patted his hair, "Yeah... She will be.."
