“Listen you b***h! We are giving you time till tomorrow. If you are not ready, then forget to ask for money for your filthy autistic sister. b***h! You have been a curse to our family. You are as useless as stone. We cannot expect anything in return from you. You unthankful adopted daughter. You are the proof that blood is thicker than water.” Mrs. Gray said while snatching her hair. Sidney was not screaming at all. It has become habitual for him. Even though she screamed, her scream was overcome by their laugh. So she did not want to make a fool of herself in front of those stone-hearted people. Sidney was staring at that trio that had made her life worsen till now. They were waiting for her answer. Still, they were showing fake concern towards her. They always wanted to find an opportunity so that they could use her. If it was not for her autistic sister, she would have left them now. Many things have changed since she was brought into this house. She still clearly remembers everything when she was two. In the remote location of Sidney city and Australia country, there was a big spacious villa. One granny has transformed her villa into an orphanage. It was completely occupied by the noise of children. Some were newborn whereas some were about twelve. There was a garden around it where she used to play with her autistic sister. They used to have many visitors; many of her friends were taken by them. Most have returned them. They say their own child is more trustable than others. In the world full of lights, the life of those children was still dark. The villa was full of cries and laughter from children. In the noise there was a girl who was about two years old who was sitting in the garden and drawing something peacefully. She was holding the hand of her little sister, who was almost one year old. The girl was the most adorable girl in that villa. She was not able to talk but seeing her holding the hand of her sister, she seemed so responsible. Her blue eyes and golden brown hair could hypnotize anyone. She was so emerging from her drawing but was still holding her sister's hand tightly. Her parents might have died in the accident. They were a burden on their aunt, so she left them in this orphanage. They were too small to think about the difficulties of their life. “Sidney, one visitor wants to see you. Will you come with me?” The caretaker of the orphanage asked her to come to the management session. Sidney stood up and took her drawing in one hand and took her sister's hand in another. She went to the management hall. “Wow Ken, look at this girl, she is so adorable. We must take her to our country. This girl is quite suitable to be our daughter.” The lady pointed towards her and spoke to her husband. Her husband was astonished to see that beautiful girl. He was very ready to adopt this child. “We want to adopt this girl. Tell us about formalities and we will take her from here.” Mr. Ken Gray spoke to that caretaker. “Hey, little girl, what’s your name? We are your new foster parents. We will take you from here. You are going to live in the big Y city of our country.” Mrs. Careen Gray looked at her with her widened eyes. Sidney was terrified by her looks and stepped back. She grabbed the hand of her little sister even more tightly. She was so naïve and innocent. Her sparky eyes were filled with tears. She turned behind and hugged her sister. She started crying madly. “What happened to her? Why didn’t she tell us her name?” Mrs. Careen Grey wondered. ‘This girl has a little autistic sister. She never left her alone. I don’t think she would come with you without her sister. If you want, you can take another child with you”, Caretaker said bitterly. “Oh my god! Her sister has autism. I don’t think it would be better to adopt both of the children. We are only planning to adopt a single child from here.” Mrs. Careen Gray became upset. “Then we would keep her in the hospital. Autistic children need special attention and we can afford their medical fees.” Mr. Ken assured his wife and that caretaker. After some formalities, they brought that child to their country and then their villa. Sidney was still not holding the hands of his sister. Both Mr. and Mrs. Gray became so frustrated. They forcefully snatched the hand of her little sister and admitted her to an autistic care Centre. Sidney had cried for several days, but all in vain. Finally, she moved on and started living with Careen and Ken Gray. She had become a member of the Gray family. It was all new for her. Her foster parents' love for her started decreasing day by day. They had adopted Sidney because they did not have their own child for several years. When Sidney thought about her autistic sister, the teardrops came from her crystal eyes and fell on the torn pieces of her drawings which were torn by Elisa. Just for her little sister, she had endured so much pain. The pain inside her heart had grown to an extreme extent. This decision was not between Arthur and that man, but it had become her sister and that man. She strongly stood up and wiped out her tears from her cheeks. Now she had made up her mind to be prepared for everything.
