Episode1
The rain was pouring down, the streets slick with the blood of those who had crossed the Don. Salvatore Moretti stood at the window of his penthouse, looking out over the city he controlled with an iron fist. The sound of his wife's voice broke his reverie.
"Sal, are you really going to continue with this madness?"
"Madness, Maria? This is business. And business is booming."
Maria shook her head and walked away, leaving Salvatore to his thoughts. He had built his empire from nothing, starting as a low-level enforcer and working his way up to becoming the most powerful man in the city. And he had no intentions of letting anyone take it from him.As the rain continued to pound against the windows, Salvatore's mind drifted back to the beginning, where it all started. He had grown up in the poor neighborhoods of the city, surrounded by violence and crime. His parents had struggled to put food on the table, and Salvatore made a promise to himself that he would never be in such a situation again.
He had started out as a runner for a small-time mob boss, delivering packages and collecting payments. But Salvatore had always been ambitious and had quickly risen through the ranks. He proved himself to be a ruthless enforcer, never hesitating to take out anyone who stood in his way.
With each new job, Salvatore gained more power and respect. And soon, he had his own crew and was running his own operations. But the road to the top was not an easy one. Salvatore had made many enemies along the way, and he knew that they were always looking for an opportunity to take him down.
But Salvatore was not one to back down from a fight. He had built his empire on blood and sweat, and he would do whatever it takes to protect it. And that meant dealing with his enemies in his own way.
Maria had been his saving grace. She had come into his life when he was at the peak of his power, and she had brought peace and stability to his chaotic world. She had also given him a son, Anthony, who was the light of his life.
But as Salvatore looked out at the city, he couldn't help but wonder if all of this was worth it. The constant bloodshed and danger, the never-ending need to stay on top. He knew that he could never truly have a normal life, but he had made his choices a long time ago and there was no turning back now.
As the night wore on, the rain eventually stopped, and the city was left in a state of eerie calmness. Salvatore retreated to his bedroom, where Maria was already asleep. He looked down at her peaceful face and felt a twinge of guilt for bringing her into his dangerous world.
But he also knew that he would never change. This was who he was, and no amount of rain or regrets could change that. Salvatore Moretti was the king of this city, and he would do whatever it takes to keep it that way.
