Extra Dirty

Sebastian’s POV She walked into the room once more with such fierce conviction, it made my knees feel weak. Of course my mate was fierce. The Moon Goddess blessed me with an amazing mate. She started to speak and all I heard was music. All I could register was that she wanted to talk with me. I walked over to her and she spun on her feet and walked out of the room without another word. I looked to my right and saw her father with an amused expression on his face. He knew his daughter was all fire. As I followed her down the hall, I couldn’t help but stare at every inch of her from behind. I would follow this woman anywhere with an ass like that and those thick legs. She made her way to the hotel bar, heels clacking the marble floor aggressively. She snaked her way through the lounge area and found an isolated corner with a small table and plush furniture. She snapped her long, manicured fingers and motioned for a waiter to come over. “Gin martini, extra dirty” she said, staring into my eyes fiercely. “Scotch, neat” staring right back into hers. She melted down into the plush seat and motioned for me to sit. Before I could get settled, she fired: “I do not need a mate, and I will not give up my place as Alpha of the Blood Moon pack” She spoke with such conviction and almost resentment. It took me by surprise for a second, but I never let my composure betray me. Even though I could hear Alaric’s whimpering in my head. “You are my mate and my Luna, there is no discussion about this. You will return with me to Opal Moon” I said levelly. “I will never be a Luna. From the day I was born, I was destined to be an Alpha” she said carefully. “Well I’m sorry to break it to you, love, but you’re destined to be my mate. You’re mated to an Alpha, therefore destined to be a Luna” “Funny, I could say the same thing to you” She said, her voice like ice. At this time our waiter brought us our drinks. She took a long sip of her extra dirty martini. I thought about doing extra dirty things to that beautiful mouth of hers as she slowly bit into the olive in her drink. “Look, I get that this is….. different, but you're meant to be my Luna” I said, taking a deep swig of my scotch. I looked at her fierce expression, admiring the fiery and strong Luna I was blessed with. She cleared her throat. “So, it seems we can’t agree on this. I will not accept anything less than being Alpha of my pack, and you won’t accept anything less than me becoming your Luna” she said, sneering as she said the word “Luna”. “I don’t know why you find that to be so distasteful. You will be my equal in every way as Luna –” “Oh really? Is that why Lunas have a seat at the Alpha’s Circle? Is that why Lunas train with and lead the warriors into fights, meet with other Alphas, make decisions? No… I will never give up my birthright to Blood Moon” She tipped her head back and finished her martini. She motioned to the waiter to bring her a second one. I motioned for another scotch as I threw mine back. The burn I felt down my throat wasn’t nearly as bad as the burn I felt from her words. “You will be my equal. And you will be my Luna” I had never begged for anything in my life, yet, here I was on the verge of begging this beautiful woman. I needed her in my life like I needed air to breathe. But I would never allow myself to show that kind of vulnerability. She would concede and be my Luna. There was no other alternative. James inhaled and exhaled slowly. She twitched her nose and I could tell she was thinking deeply about what to say next. It was adorable. The waiter came with our drinks after a painfully long silence. She took two long sips and finished off her second martini. She closed her eyes and a tear slid down her cheek. “I don’t need a mate, Alpha Sebastian. I ....” She paused and took a long, shaky inhale, clearly fighting with herself over what to say next. Her eyes fluttered open and she looked defeated. “I can’t do this. I cannot reject you, but I cannot accept you either” she said, her voice choking. She stood abruptly and made her way to the elevators. She stopped the waiter, wrote down what I assumed to be her room number, and ran away before I could register what was happening. Finally, Alaric snapped me back to reality. Dude, Go. Get. Her. Do not let our mate get away! I got up and charged after her. I found her standing, waiting on the elevator, furiously punching the “Up” button. She looked up and drew a sharp breath when she saw me, tears beginning to fall down her cheeks. My heart clenched at the sight of her sadness. She quickly swept away the tears and turned away from me. The door opened and she stepped inside. She tried to close the doors on me, but I was too quick. The elevator started to move, and I had her in there with me with nowhere to run. ————— James’ POV He followed me into the elevator and pinned me to the wall, caging me in his strong arms. He was so close that his hot breath fanned my face. I tried to turn to look away from him, but he grabbed my chin and forced me to look into his eyes. My breathing hitched as I looked deep into the dark amber color. The world seemed to stop, my senses overwhelmed with the smell of cedar and scotch. He leaned in, brushing his smooth lips against mine, causing sparks to shoot through my lips down to my toes. He pulled away and looked at me with the most seductive smile, causing me to shiver. Ember fought to take control. I slowly reached my hands up and tangled them in his hair, bringing his face back down to mine for another, much hungrier kiss. My hands reached behind his neck, holding him close to me. His hands found the small of my back, closing the distance between the two of us. I slid my hands down his neck onto his chest, grabbing the material of his dress shirt desperately. Our kiss deepened and our tongues began to fight for dominance. My head was screaming at me to stop. My heart and Ember begged me to keep going. For a second my head won, and I pushed him across the elevator. He looked at me in shock, hurt evident in his eyes. I took a deep breath. My resolve was to never kiss him again. But at the same time, I had to kiss him. Against all reason, and every ounce of my resolve, my heart defeated my head, and I charged across the elevator and pinned him to the wall. My mouth claimed his, and our tongues began to dance again. His hands roamed my body and every inch of my waist and hips. One of his hands found their way to my hair. He tasted like mint and scotch. Ember purred in my head. My canines began to elongate as I decided to explore his neck with my mouth. He just smelled so damn good. I licked the spot on his neck where his neck met his clavicle, the spot where werewolves mark their mates. I could feel him shiver underneath my touch. I wanted so badly to sink my teeth into his skin…. As soon as the thought crossed my mind I hissed and took three steps backward, covering my mouth. His eyes were gold and mad with lust; his wolf was trying to take over. I looked in the mirrored walls of the elevator and saw my usual dark eyes were shimmering gold. Ember was REALLY close to taking over. I started to tremble as I realized how close I had come to destroying my dreams. The elevator finally hit my floor, the 14th floor, and the doors opened. Standing there waiting was Mason. My mouth went dry. My hair was disheveled and I’m pretty sure my lipstick was smudged, and I KNOW I smelled like Alpha Sebastian on top of the scent of my arousal. Before I could say anything both men were growling, and Alpha Sebastian had lunged out of the elevator between Mason and me. “STOP” I said in my Alpha tone, and Mason immediately straightened to attention. “I do not like him” Alpha Sebastian snarled through bared teeth. “The feeling is mutual” Mason muttered, ignoring my exasperated look. “She is MINE. You won’t ever touch her like that again” Alpha Sebastian growled. “Funny, I don’t recall her claiming you back” Mason smirked. I shot Mason a warning look before I spoke. “Alpha Sebastian, you will treat my Gamma with respect as our laws dictate” I looked into his eyes with such intensity I swear I saw the powerful Alpha flinch “Clearly we still have more to discuss. Not tonight. I will see you sometime tomorrow. Good night, Alpha Sebastian.” I turned on my heel while Mason followed and disappeared down the hall, leaving Sebastian behind, a little stunned. I had to clench my teeth and dig my nails in my palms with every step. I made it to my hotel room and Mason stood, watching and waiting for me to say anything. I looked up at him, tears pricking my eyes. “Go get some sleep Mace” I said quietly, opening my door and shutting it before he could say anything else. I leaned against the door and let the tears of rage and despair finally fall.
