***Tobias's POV*** We shifted and sprinted into the tree lines. We came across some wide pigs and after taking them down, Miles felt a lot better. We bathed in the sea, washing off the blood from our fur before going back to the house. Nick walked over to Rachelle who was holding Oliver in her arms and picked her up, heading to their bedroom. I smiled at them, I looked over at Ethan and Brittney sitting on the couch watching a movie. I remembered that she had given me her necklace. I took it off and walked over to her sitting down on the couch. “Hey, I just wanted to thank you for helping me in the cave and wanted to give this back to you. It really did help, I wouldn’t have left if you hadn't have helped me.” She smiled and took the necklace from me. “No worries, I knew that you needed help and I figured that the necklace helped me, so why not it help you.” “Well, thank you.” I smiled and stood up, I was about to walk away when something popped into my head. "Brittney? Earlier in the cave, when you were trying to get me to leave, your eyes started to glow like Ivy's does when she activates her powers. When you put the necklace on me, I felt a wave of calming power flow through me from you. Did you know that you could do that?" I asked, the look on her face told me she had never done that before. She shook her head and looked over at Ethan, who held her tightly wrapped in his arms. I saw Birttney tense up and I knew he was trying to calm her down. "Are you sure it wasn't the crystal that was calming you down? I don't have powers." She said, looking a bit panicked. I wanted to ask a few more questions but noticed Ethan glaring at me and decided to just leave it. "It's nothing bad, it was probably just the crystal and my reaction to Ivy not being there," I said, smiling down at her. I saw her relax and breathed out a sigh of relief at me letting it go. I would have to talk to Ivy about this. “Have a good night you two.” I winked at them both and headed into the bedroom. I saw Ivy fast asleep on the bed. I crawled in next to her and pulled her closer to me. She hummed and cuddled even deeper into me. I closed my eyes and fell asleep. I woke up early the next morning to someone banging on the bedroom door. “Tobias, Ivy, you both need to wake up! We need to leave and head back home now. I just got a call from Charlie, there has been another attack on the Pack.” Ivy gasped, and I jumped out of bed, rushing over to open the bedroom door. Ethan was standing there holding his phone out for me. "Charler is on the phone." He said as I took it from him, holding it up to my ear. “Charlie what happened? Are you okey? Was anyone hurt?” I asked in a rush, needing to know what happened. “Tobias calm down, it was a rogue attack. David was involved, but he managed to escape before we could get to him.” I growled. “Did we lose anyone?” Ivy had come over to me then, placing her hand on my chest trying to calm me down. “No, but there are a few injures, Nicks Pack stepped in to help. If they weren’t there, then who knows how it would have turned out. How long are you in New Zealand for?” He asked, sounding a bit desperate. I breathed out a sigh of relief hearing that no one was seriously hurt. Ivy moved back over to the bed waiting for me to tell her what had happened. “We are heading back tonight. We found the Diamond Blade, so we don't need to be here any longer. I will message you once we are on the plan.” “That's good, I will keep you updated until you get back. Fly safe.” “Thank you, Charlie, we will be home soon.” I hung up the phone and handed it back to Ethan. “Thank you, Ethan, let's get everything packed and ready to go. We should leave now before anything else happens while we aren’t there.” He nodded his head. “Yes Alpha, Nick and Rachelle have been informed by their own Pack about what happened.” I nodded my head, and he headed back into his room. I turned to look at Ivy thinking she was still waiting for me to tell her what happened, but she was looking down at the blade with a scowl on her face. I close the door and walked over to her, crouching down, so I could look into her eyes. “What’s going on in that beautiful head of yours?” She slowly lifts her head towards me and I see angry tears in her eyes. “Whatever we do to protect the Pack and our family, it just gets worse, no matter what we do. Someone always gets hurt and it’s all because of me.” I shook my head and took the blade out of her hands, placing it on the bedside table. I wrapped my arms around her, lifting her up and placing her on my lap as I sat back down on the bed. “Ivy, you can’t think like that, it will just take you to a dark place again. This is not your fault, we will figure this out, I promise.” I pulled her into a hug, I heard a tiny sob escape from her and I rubbed small circles on her back trying to calm her down. She started shaking and i could feel the despair coming off of her through the bond. I hated how Jack made her feel like everything he has done was her fault. “Come let's get some food into you and head to the airport.” She pulls away from me and stands up. She stumbles a bit and I stand just as she falls to the ground. It looked like she was having a fit and I started to panic. “Ivy!” Her eyes were closed and she wasn't responding to me. I could hear rushing footsteps outside the bedroom and the door slammed open. "What happened?" Rachelle said, running over to us. "I'm not sure, she stood up then collapsed, now she won't wake up." I said, picking her up off the ground and placing her on the bed. I stroked her face trying to get her to wake up. Her eyes suddenly flew open and she sat up crying while holding her stomach. "Ivy baby, look at me. What happened?" I said, trying to calm her racing heart. "What happened sweety?" Rachelle asked at the same time, rubbing small circles on her back. " I had another vision, but this time Jack took the pups. He said he didn't need me anymore and that the pups were all he needed for his plans to begin." She was crying so hard now, holding her stomach protectively. I wrap her in a tight hug wishing I could take all of her pain away. "I will get you a glass of water," Rachelle says as she leaves the room. "He will not get hold of our pups, we will stop him before that can happens." I said, pulling her in to me. She wraps her arms around me tightly, breathing in my scent to calm her down.
