Alice Walker's POV
Catherine and her family let me and the kids alone to rest for the day. The long journey in the flight had scrunched up my body. After my kids fell asleep, I too lied down and soon fell asleep. It was already dark when we woke up. Maids were setting up the dinner when we got down. Catherine and Harris welcomed us to the table. Catherine had arranged a five-course dinner for us. I didn’t find Hayden at the table.
“Where is Hayden?” I asked.
“He has gone out with friends. It’s his final year in secondary school. His exam starts next week and so all the friends went out to celebrate.” Catherine said.
