I know that once my dad sees me,he will be extremely surprised.
I can already see the man standing beside a pillar, impatiently waiting for me.
But, I don't really know how I'm going to tell him how I got beaten by the rain.
I know that even if I try to explain,he might not believe me because I'm already known as someone who has the habit of playing in the rain.
By the time I could reach his spot,he has already seen me.
He was really surprised. his facial expression was like; How can this girl still be acting immature?
"Good evening,da__” before I could finish speaking,he took the umbrella from me,eyeing me grumpily.
"Find your way home!” That was all he said before leaving me behind.
I felt like laughing. infact, I was already chuckling. that was a ridiculous attitude.
I can't believe he will still pick an offence over me being drenched.
Maybe,he didn't scold me because I'm now matured.
if I was still the same little girl,he would have yelled at me and might have even beaten me here for playing in the rain.
Sometimes,it's good to be matured.
But,what if he's going to give me an earful at home?
Don't think much about it, Evie!
I decided to chase after him. no matter how fast I try to walk,he was already far from me.
What's the use of bothering? Let me enjoy this opportunity by taking a better view of the road in this world.
I still love the way I'm freely walking under this rain without minding.
I began to look around. I could see passerbys walking around. some are with their umbrellas while some are already soaking wet.
Why are my parents always making a mountain out of everything?
I looked at the other side of the road,in one of the streets, there's a*****e there. I could see a little girl jumping in the rain while her mom was buying something from the store.
looking at the little girl reminds me of my childhood memories. I wish I was still little, I would have been jumping in the rain like that girl.
My little advice for all the kids out there is; always make the best out of your childhood, play freely,do naughty things,be happy and have all the fun you want as a kid because once you become an adult, you won't get a better chance.
Sometimes, I think that being a motivational speaker will really suit me because I'm good at saying inspirational things.
Hahaha! very funny.
I looked up to see my dad but he was no longer in my sight.
wow! he must have reached home. I'm sure that by now,he has complained to my mom about my silly behavior.
sigh!
