How did it happen
“Please don't do this”
Already tipsy, I tried pushing him away, but his strong grip held me close, accompanied by his masculine colon. The more I tried to hold back, the more I kept giving in as he pulled down his pants, raising my dress up, he found his way deep into me.
“Please I'm getting engaged in a few months, don't do this.”
My voice was already failing me as the pressure was now more than the resistance,
“No one has to know; if you ever mention this to anyone, I would make sure you never see the light of day.”
He continued to force his way into me, holding my neck. He pulled backward as I lay down with my belly. Pulling my hair as he went in deep from behind me.
“You have no shame”
I mumbled the words out slowly as my threshold of endurance was overdue.
“I see your shame, that's why you're full of yourself ha ha ha”
His disgusting masculine voice kept punching every nerve in my body as he stroked in and out of me with every amount of pleasure.
I very well know this wasn't the first time I was being called names, as several times, whenever I turned down a guy, I was tagged as being full of myself.
I am a once-in-a-lifetime lover, as when I love, I don't cheat, and when I'm cheated on, I don't move on easily; what breaks me more is being taken for granted, which was Why I always protected my space until my betrothed broke my silent space.
His smile was enough to illuminate a dark room, his skin radiance was second to none, as I often held his hands tight, worshiping it in my heart. And until this night, none had ever had his way between my legs.
A gift I always reserved for my sweet first love for our wedding night.
“you're taking advantage of a drunk Lady against her will, you are evil”
My voice broke down as I couldn't bear it anymore, my eyes became moist, and my body shivered at every penetration. All I could do was cry because I was far away from the school hall where we had the graduation dinner.
My heart raced, and my mouth fell apart with my voice at every stroke of his body to mine.
Every attempt to push him away only felt like a romantic clutch of approval with no strength to fight back. I lay on breathless and hopeless with my dignity gone. I felt empty. “My pride is gone; my marriage to Liam might follow if I don't keep this to myself and find the right time to tell everyone about it.” I never wanted to be a subject of mockery, so I held back instead.
All this was a result of him offering to drop me off; my whole body felt used.
Why wouldn't Liam attend my own graduation dinner? Why would I even get exposed this way to harm and danger?
Mom warned me about going alone, and I objected, stating I could handle myself. How much of a handle am I to myself? I can't even hold off or resist his grip. All this thought clouded my mind as my whole body trembled in fear for what was next.
“Lila Liiila”
My mom broke me out of my thoughts, trembling. I turned to acknowledge her call.
“Mo mother you are here,”
I responded with a stuttering voice which grew in strength after every word.
“I have been standing for over 20 seconds”
She answered as she walked closer; she held my face high and looked into my moist eyes; my face grew red, and my hands were shaking.
“I have to tell you something real quick Mom!”
I stretched my hands out, reaching out as I grabbed her hands; I held her tight, so tight that she could feel my vibrating hands, as every word from my lips stuttered.
“Today isn't a day for many words my love you deserve to be happy”
Those words dragged my jaws as I gave a genuine smile.
She opened her arms and grabbed me all in; a warm embrace indeed was all I needed, sniffing in every fragrance of her sunflower perfume.
“It is not about today Mom I really need to tell you this”
I whispered into her ears at close range, my lips already colliding with her ears after I whispered.
"What is it all about that can't wait till we get back to our house?”
Reluctant to get the answer she asked anyway. Pulling herself away, she walked toward the window and drew it open, setting the white and remorse curtains tied to the side of each window.
“Mom I was..”
As I walked towards her to confide in her, the room door pushed open
“Her mother's Daughter,”
My father walked in holding his mobile phones as he waved them to our faces, one way of him saying hello. He gave a lostful smile and walked right into my space,
“Yes Father”
My eyes drew inside as I tried to comprehend what just happened; it was a long time since I felt loved by my Father, let alone him, showing he cared.
“You look absolutely pretty. Indeed, you are your epitome of beauty”
His looks couldn't hide the excitement, but this was all still new to me because, since the introduction of Aunt Victoria, his new lover, he had never had time for the family, and I was shocked Mom even invited him as well as more shocked he honored the invitation for my engagement.
“I am glad you came.”
I received his warm arms in an embrace which lasted over 15 seconds. I really miss my Dad.
There were times when he picked me up from school and drove me straight out to have ice cream and asked me not to tell Mom where we were. But my naive self then wouldn't hold the excitement only to explode it all over dinner
“I wouldn't miss this special moment of yours, not even for my own Wedding hahaha..”
He gave a big laugh as his voice responded in the open room, but I could tell he meant every word from how he cuddled my hair backward and kissed my forehead. A gesture I used to while growing up but lost it when things changed between him and my Mom.
His separation from his mom wasn't official as they both still maintained communication, and Mom still sent him an allowance.
Even though heading Kings Global Company was a man's kind of job, Mom never let the executive position out for any reason, as she would always leave early for work and return late at night. Creating space and giving room for Dad's late night as well, which I always suspected he was seeing someone.
“Enough already let's try this dress first and then. Now we have your dad hear he can help with picking which is best”
Mom placed several gowns on the bed along with her own engagement dress, the same which my dad got for her back then; at that moment, I could only imagine the thought running through their head. As I saw the looks, they gave each other, both trying not to keep eye contact.
This gown was special, so also was the engagement night, which mom got to wear it. To Mom, it was just a show, but to my dad, Mr. Longman, it was him finally getting his love right in his arms as Mom slept, not just my Dad but every other guy she came across back then due to her stunning looks. She cost them many of their relationships and some of their friendship. And that was the same way she got away with Dad, who was already being loved by Victoria back then.
“You can't fight power, game, and money being broke.” Those were ideology and so she believed she could get anything or anyone she wanted.
But that wasn't the same for Dad as he admired her right from the first day of Business school class.
“I think I'll go with the black gown and those gold shoes. What do you think Dad,”
I pointed to the dress as I picked it up and walked toward the mirror.
“That's a nice choice my love whichever fits in perfectly in your eyes I'm fine with it”
He responded, giving me a wink as he smiled; raising his big thumb, he gave a big up.
“I think this red would be best”
Mom pointed to the engagement gown she wore on her own night. As she smiled back, she picked up the red dress and walked toward me, already looking through the mirror.
I saw the big giggle from my dad as his face painted its jaws readily enough to see the blush; for the first time in a long time, they both agreed to smile together.
“This moment is all I have always wished for, having you two so close to me again”
It was more like every step we took that day reminded them of the good old days which they both secretly missed.
Even though mom always told me Dad was fun of the ladies, she would say she still picked him because of his taste for fashion.
“There you are”
Liam Walked in as if he had seen a ghost, painting fingers towards my direction he shook his head in disapproval.
“My king, my world, what is wrong…”
He cut off words from my mouth as he pointed to the door
“I want everyone downstairs right now!”
With a long face and furry eyes, he walked out.
This was the first time I ever saw him this angry; what could this be? His perfectly muscular body dropped, and his hair scattered, but one could still pick out the curls.
“This can't be happening.”
I mumbled to myself. As my heart raced, my face grew red even more.
With everyone assembled in the main lounge, he called me out.
“I am calling off this Engagement”
