ADRIKS POV
There was a lot to do and I was having a headache. There was a knock on my door but I ignored it. I didn’t want to deal with anybody today.
Except Maia. My mind mocked me and I smiled. She was the only exception. Seeing her would definitely relieve my headache and bring me some kind of peace.
The door opened and Amara poked her head inside.
“I’m busy Amara” I said looking back at the papers scattered all over my desk.
“When are you not” she mocked.
“What do you want Amara” she ignored me and looked around my office.
“You haven’t changed a bit” she almost sounded disappointed.
“Amara I’m really busy. Say what you want and be on your way”
“That’s not the way to talk to your wife”
I glared at her and she chuckled.
“You’ve been in here since Dawn. Won’t you take a break”
