My mind was a complete mess. After two years, her presence still unsettled me. I didn’t expect Aleks to bring her here even after I had clearly warned him.
I looked at the papers before me and sighed. I couldn’t think clearly. I abandoned them and went to work out in the gym.
After an hour of working out, I had a shower and dressed to go out when I saw her maid standing by the door.
“Has she had breakfast?”
“Yes she has” the girl said but didn’t move.
“Is there anything else?”
“Today is my off day. I’ll be leaving for the day”
“Okay. Leave her food in the microwave. Be back on time” I said and walked away.
