“You really have to go outside today?” Adrik asked with a pout.
“It’s the only day I get to go outside”
“You know I can take you outside anytime you want”
“It’s against the rules”
“Who makes the rules?” He asked with a smug face.
“My mean boss who never smiles” he frowns and I kiss his face.
“At least let the driver drop you off”
“No. I’ll be fine. I don’t want anybody following me either. I just want a day on my own without any body around”
“Fine. I’ll see you tonight. I have to see Aleks before he leaves. You want to come?”
I shook my head. “No”
It was best if I didn’t see Aleks again. It was a good thing he was leaving. I’ll be leaving very soon and all our ties will be cut off.
“Okay then” he kissed me and left his bedroom.
