Serena was terribly worried of what would happen if the black witches found her. They would no doubt kill her, to prevent her from fulfilling the prophecy.
She was just beginning to settle down with her family, yet her future was already in danger.
"Don't worry, Serena." Xavier murmured. "Nothing will happen. We're stronger together."
"I'm okay now." She smiled. "I guess I'm going to need training, to master my powers."
"Your brother and I will train you." Logan answered. "We will begin your training after your welcome party. The Sisters Of The Night will be here before your celebration. They will have the answers to any question we have for them."
Just then, someone knocked. It was one of the witch guard.
"Apologies for the interruption, my Lord." He bowed in respect.
"What is it, Jade?" Logan asked.
"Alpha Kendrick of Blood Moon pack has arrived with his gamma. They await your presence in the great hall."
"I will be with them shortly with my family." Logan replied.
Jade bowed again and walked away. There were four different levels of witch guards and Jade was in the second level.
The first level were the strongest white witches, and the hierarchy lowered down till the fourth level. The fourth level were the guards which were still under training while the first, second and third level where the strongest witch guards.
Logan took Isabel's hand and pulled her close. "I don't have to tell you how important our guest is." He said to Serena and Xavier. "You already know. So look presentable and join us at the great hall."
"Yes dad."

The moment Kendrick walked into the Michaelsons' Mansion, he was assailed with a pleasant scent. A very intoxicating scent which made his wolf restless and ecstatic at the same time.
He shut his eyes and breathed in deeply to savour the smell. Chocolate and wet rocks!
His eyes flew open instantly. This scent! It was the same one in his dream. The scent of the girl he saw in his dream.
He watched as the white witch guard returned and bowed again.
"Lord Logan will join you soon." He murmured. "Please make yourself comfortable. The maids will bring you some refreshments." He turned and left the hall without another word.
Kendrick didn't bother replying him as his aura portrayed one of power and authority. He inhaled again, trying to catch the scent that made his wolf restless, but it had grown faint. He couldn't wait to see the owner of that scent.
Could it be? After so may years, did the moon goddess finally send his mate to him?
The door burst open suddenly and Logan walked in with Isabel beside him. Two maids followed behind them and dropped trays of fruitcake and sweet tea on the centre table, before leaving quietly.
"Alpha Kendrick." Logan's voice boomed out. He released Isabel and walked to where the lycan sat.
Kendrick got up and for a moment, they both stared at each other silently, each with a frown on their faces. The tension in the air was thick.
Then suddenly, as if in agreement, they both laughed out loud and embraced each other, slapping the other in the back.
Jack's eyes widened and he almost choked on the tea he had been sipping. He stifled a cough and placed the teacup down. Alpha Kendrick was actually laughing with the royal white witch? Wait, where they friends? Since when? A dozen questions ran through his mind as he looked on in puzzlement.
"Lord Logan." Kendrick said finally. "So good to see you after such a long time."
"Good to see you too, Alpha Kendrick. You remember my darling wife, Isabel."
"No one could ever forget such great beauty, Lord Logan. Lady Isabel, my pleasure meeting you again." He took Isabel's hand and laid a kiss on it.
"Oh, your flattery will get you anywhere." Isabel laughed heartily. "So nice to see you again Kendrick."
Jack felt like he was watching a movie. This was a whole new side of his alpha, a side he had never seen. And the lady Isabel just called his name without the alpha title.
When Kendrick laughed at something Isabel said to him and sat down, he snapped at Jack through the mind link.
[Breathe a word about my carefree side to anyone and I'll kill you].
Jack looked up in surprise, but Kendrick was paying attention to Isabel, as if he hadn't just threatened him through the mind link.
[Of course, Alpha] He replied, and Kendrick closed the link. Of course he wouldn't dare talk about this to anyone. He valued his life.
At that moment, the door opened and Xavier walked out with Serena beside him. The moment Kendrick saw her, he sat up abruptly.
It was her, the girl from his dream. Her scent, the smell of chocolate and wet rocks, became stronger as she walked towards him. She was smiling at something Xavier was saying. His eyes lowered, taking in every single part of her.
She wore a pair of black jeans that fitted her gorgeous body like a second skin, topped with a black t-shirt similar to the one Xavier had on. Her long, lustrous hair reached below her waist, and it framed her round face. Her eyes were like the full moon on a dark night. Her lips were a bright cherry red and they matched her rosy cheeks. This was the girl he had seen in his dreams.
Suddenly his wolf growled happily in his mind and said just one word.
MATE
She was his mate.
Kendrick stood up from his seat so fast, startling everyone in the room including the girl. Though she was wary of him, he could see the curiosity in her eyes as she stood beside her twin. He knew she could feel the mate bond, even as they hadn't made contact.
He walked up to her, his gaze pinned on hers, and a word escaped his lips.
"Mine."
