Loving him

CHAPTER 15

Nelson finally entered the house and found Anna sitted on the bed wearing clothes she was wearing the day before. Upon seeing her , he rushed to her side , gently kissing her on the forehead before putting all the things he was carrying on the small table next to the bed. He sat down beside her " how are feeling" with glossy eyes she replied "I'm still sore" while she was wiping a tear rolling down her cheek. Nelson took her hands to his , kissing them before saying "i'm sorry angel".

Anna threw herself in Nelson arms hugging him tightly" i know........ i love you very much" She whispered into the hug. Nelson consumed with guilt he tensed up while being hugged for a while before getting lost into it . They remained hugging for sometime before Nelson spoke " I got some food for you.......... eat a little bit for me so you can take the medicine"

Anna nodded before they let go of each other.

Nelson stood up , started unpacking the food, he sat down on the bed and started feeding her the food little by little waiting patiently for her to swallow before continuing feeding her until she was full. Once she was done he packed up everything, gave her water and the medicine to drink.

She drank it while he washed his hands in the bathroom.

He came back to bed where he was and sat down "I need to put some ointment on you now angel so that you will feel much better....., lay down for me". Anna nervously lay down on the bed and waited. " It won't hurt I promise, I be gentle " Nelson told her when he noticed how hesitant she was to open up for him. When Nelson was done applying the ointment on her he packed everything away while Anna dress up.

They fell into silent for a while after that , with no one talking. Nelson was deep in thought while Anna was just looking at him lovingly. The silence in the room was interrupted by the ringing of Anna's cellphone that was on the bed next to her. She took the phone looked at it to see who was calling her, upon seeing who it was calling, She looked at Nelson who was looking at her phone and looking very angry. The phone kept on ringing with Anna not picking up. She kept on looking down at her ringing phone in her hand and looking up at Nelson. "pick up" Nelson told her, Anna shook her head " no " with tears brimming in her eyes. Again Nelson sternly told her " pick up the call Anna".

Anna refused again until finally Nelson took the phone from her , he pressed the okay button and put the phone on Anna's ear, "talk" he told her. Anna reluctantly spoke "hello". Nelson stood up from the bed and went to stand next to the window in the room.

"Anna hey ...... how are you?.......," Anna hesitantly replied " hi... I'm okay......... you".

" I'm good I'm just outside your house.......was hoping to see you ...... are you gonna be back soon.....?"

Anna didn't say anything.

The caller spoke "Anna we need to talk about yesterday..... what happened between us............ please "

Anna looked up at Nelson who was still standing by the window and not facing her before she responded " I can't "

"Anna please.... we need to talk ........please " Anna took her time before she reluctantly responded "o..kay"

"okay then when are you coming back. ?"

"I.. don't... know...... "

" okay please text me when you get back alright....." Jonathan said and The call ended.............................................

After the call Anna slowly put down her cell phone on the bed looked up at Nelson who was still standing by the window looking far away.

After some minutes or so Nelson finally turned around looked at Anna took a deep breath " I think it time I take you home........ let go" he said that than he exited the room with the car keys in his hand and his cellphone.

Anna reluctantly got up from the bed ,wore her shoes, took her belongings and quietly followed him. She found him inside his car with the engine on ready to go. She opened the passenger door went in and sat down quietly. Nelson than reach out grabbed the seat belt and put it on for Anna before driving away.

The drive was quite no one was talking, Anna would look at Nelson from time to time trying to get his attention but Nelson was just driving without paying attention to her. She tried holding his arm in the car but he moved his arm away from her. Anna couldn't hold her tears after that there were just falling. " i don't love him I love you " she tried to talk through her cries but Nelson didn't say anything.

She tried calling his name to get his attention "Nelson " she called out to him, He didn't respond he kept on driving. By now Anna is a crying mess. When they were almost at Anna's home he stopped the car and finally turn to look at a crying Anna. He spoke" I think you should give him a chance, he could love you better than I could......". Anna shook her head "no" . " yeah he could.....you already kissed him anyway .... right.... ".

" please no" Anna told him while grabbing her tight chest trying to ease the pain she was feeling.

" he even called you this morning to check up on you .........right Anna" he lifted Anna's chin up so they were face to face he continued to talk" he is perfect for you ..........right........ he is not married with kids yeah....."

Anna was not able to speak she just kept on shaking her head and crying.

When the couple was busy talking inside the parked car they didn't notice a car passing by, The car that was familiar to Anna . The driver of that car saw them and was shocked to see both of them together especially when he saw how intimate they seemed with each other. The driver shocked and still wanting to confirm he inner suspicions he decided to drive a distance from them and park his car somewhere near where he won't be seen so he can observed everything.

Sometime after the other driver packed his car he finally saw Anna slowly getting out of the other car and the driver drove away quite fast.

He observed Anna standing where the car was for a while before she slowly started walking in the direction of her home.

She was walking quite slow like she was sick or something he noticed.

She had walked a while until she stopped and she collapsed infront of her home.

"f%$@# what did he do to you " the drive started his engine and rushed to Anna side.
