I knew what i had done, things were going to get really bad from here on. Scarlet wasn't the type of girl to let things go, she was sassy, pampered and spoilt, she would definitely go home to whine to her father, but i had to delay her leaving, even if it was for a week, i got distracted from my thoughts when my mate made little sounds and opened her eyes slowly, it sounded really weird saying the word mate right now, i never believed in the mate bond since the betrayal of my father. I loved scarlet and since we both didn't belive in the mate bond we easily kicked things off smoothly, i pushed those thoughts aside, i had all the time in the world to think about it, but for now, i had to focus on the tiny girl in my arms, i had been in this position for at least 1 hour, i needed a really good stretch. Hey, you are finally awake, i said softly, stretching my free arm to tuck a stray strand of hair away from her face, she loomed at me with unfocused eyes, her big brown eyes a perfect contrast to her blonde shoulder length hair. Where am i? her voice crooked and raspy , in my house i said staring keenly at her, her eyes widened, realization suddenly hitting her, she took in a deep breath and exhaled slowly, a small smile forming on her lips, i am guessing she took in my scent. What is your name, not quite sure of what else to ask her, Annabel, but you can call me anna, what is yours? Alex i said with a smile on my lips, she is definitely not the shy type, because she went straight to asking me my age and other things concerning the pack,but i wasn't really interested in all that, my mind was somewhere else, wandering what scarlet was up to. I don't know if the fault is from me, but anna wasn't really my type of girl, thick thighs, medium sized boobs and a large ass was my exact type, but Anna was the exact opposite, short, slim and flat chested, she wasn't all that bad, but i really don't know why the moon goddess would give me a mate i wasn't attracted to, i really loved her scent, but if it were not for the mate bond, i would never be interested in a girl like her. My mother would definitely have my head if she found out i was not solely interested in my mate, she went through a lot when she found out about my father's affair, it broke her into pieces, and it took 3 good years to start healing, she is the reason i took in Anna. I wanted to pretend i didn't see her when i went for my run, but the pull wouldn't let me, and my wolf kept barking at me for thinking of leaving her there in the cold. It would break mom to see someone experience the same thing she did, this is how i know there is no turning back from this now, i tucked Anna in bed, leaving her with an excuse that sounded really silly and a kiss on her forehead, i really need to have a meeting with my elders about our boarder i said as i dragged the duvet up to her neck, sleep tight, i will be back, i said as i left the room, i took in two deep breaths behind the door before walking straight to the hallway that led outside, i needed to find scarlet, and i know exactly where she would be.
