"Calista! Are you home?" My father shouts as soon as he opens the door.
"Father?! Why are you home so early? It's everything ok? Are we attacked again?"
"Oh, no, Calista! I just bought someone who wants to see you!"
"Who wants to see her?" Zariel asks with a hint of jealousy. I couldn't contain my laughter.
"Invi? Is that you?! I can't believe it! Zariel are you seeing her too or am I dreaming?"
"I do! I see her too..." Zariel ask.
"Did you missed me?"
"Invi! It is you! Why did you do that? I am so mad at you! I thought you... You.." Calista starts sobbing.
"I'm not! Look, I'm here! I'm home!"
We hug for a couple of minutes then I pulled apart.
"If you don't mind, I will like to wash, eat and sleep. It's been so long since I did any of these properly."
"Of course!" They responded in unison.
"I'll be back, downstairs, for dinner in about thirty minutes."
"Ok! No worries! We will wait for you! Don't we, Zariel?" Calista asks.
"Mmmm...yeah, sure!" He said and I heard a slap followed by a mumble.
I undress and stepped straight into the hot water tub. My body was so sore due to continuous fighting. I needed a break but I can not afford one. Tomorrow I'll go again and hopefully, no one will try to stop me.
My muscles relaxed and I close my eyes just for a bit to enjoy this.
Like in a dream imagines came into my head.
I couldn't move or talk. All I could do was watching the things that happened before my eyes.
Two little boys, around the age of seven, were playing in a field full of colour. Flowers that I saw before were everywhere. The boys were chasing each other, jumping in the trees. Trees! Where am I? We don't have trees on Nibira.
"Avalon! Wait! You are cheating again!"
One of the kids said.
"Just because I'm faster than you, doesn't mean I'm cheating Ivilon! "
The one whose name seems to be Avalon said laughing.
"Yeah... Sure! You know I let you win all the time, little brother! I can't stand to see you crying like a girl!" Ivilon shouts back, mischief clear in his voice.
"Stop this! You are just a few seconds older than me!"
"Indeed! But still, I'm older! So you should start respecting me more, Avalon!"
The first one opens his small dark brown wings and landed on the ground on one knee.
"You always said that! But you know you need to be stronger than me to gain my respect, big brother! To be fair, it won't bring you that!" He said looking up at his brother.
Ivilon jump straight on the ground, landing graciously next to Avalon. No one of them said anything. It was like a staring contest.
Suddenly, they start laughing and shakes their hands.
"That was a good one Avalon! You always make me laugh so much!"
"I know, brother! I'm the best brother in the world!" He shouts the last part.
They turned to me. But they couldn't see me.
My mouth hung open when I see their faces. They both have black hair and black eyes, their mouths, nose and even ears look the same.
This cannot be! They are twins! But how? I never see any pax-els to have twins. The Elders said there were no more born in the last thousands of years.
Suddenly, screams were heard. The boy's eyes widening in fear. They look behind me and start running.
I followed them, curious about what is happening.
A woman with long black hair and brown eyes was running towards us. She should be their mother.
"Ivilon! Avalon! Run! Run to the mountains! I'll come to look after you! I promise!"
"Mom! What is happening? Where is dad?"
"There's a revolution! That monster wants to rule over all Nibira! We can't let that happen! He has an army and will kill everyone who stands against him. You need to run now! Please!"
The boy nodded their head and run in the opposite direction. I didn't know what to do. Something was telling me to go after them, to make sure they are safe. But then again, something was holding me back.
I look at the women. She was so beautiful. Tears were streaming down her cheeks. I could see the pain in her eyes. She knew she will not be able to go after them.
After a moment she opens her wings. Then I see it. Her wings were white and red. She was a War Angel. But this means... This is that revolution that Samoa talked about.
Someone was shaking my shoulders. I finally managed to open my eyes and I see Calista moving her lips, but I didn't hear anything.
She grabs my hands and pulls me up. I let her do that, knowing that she was trying to help me.
"Invi! Sister! Talk to me, please!" I heard after few moments.
My ears were ringing and my lips were dried.
Maybe travelling for too long affected me.
"Cali? What's happening? What are you doing here?" I managed to say
"Invi, you were in here for about two hours. I thought you were asleep and I come to check if you still want to eat something. But when I come and I see that you are not in bed, I became worried. Then I came in here and I found you like that. Like you were passed out. Your eyes were white and you were breathing so heavy. I got scared. What's happened?"
Before I could answer the door slam open. Zariel and my father rushed in followed by a woman. I could tell she was a healer by her look.
"Invicta! How do you feel?" The women ask me
"Mmm... Apar of tired, I'm fine."
"Hmm... I see... Well, let me check you, please! Can you give us a minute?" She asks looking at my family.
They nodded and left the room.
"So, would you mind telling me what happened?"
I tell her everything I could remember. She stopped doing her checks and looks at me with wide eyes.
"Well, it seems like there's nothing wrong with you. Being a War Angel have its ups and downs. Having visions of the past is one of them. Now it's up to you to decide if it's a good thing or not."
"Visions of the past?! Do you want to tell me that what I dreamt of has happened?"
"Yes! But I'm in no position to discuss this with you! You should go ask the Elder. Samoa...he knows better. But before that, you should eat and rest."
She said and left.
'Visions of the past, uh?'
